Not sure about your area but the high for today actually happened overnight buddy! Was 61 at bedtime but got up to 67 around 4am and then started plummeting!

That snow lake effect? or from this storm coming through? Supposed to start mid afternoon here, but we're right on the line of snow or ice. Will suck if it's ice as we'll lose power. Have back up heat and got plenty of weed, wine, and shine! Lesmobile (Subaru outback) runs great in the snow

I believe it’s lake effect been snowing since Thursday night off and on further east and north you go the worse it is. My work has twice a much 10 miles from here. We’re supposed to get more tonight and the rest of the week actually

What does a rice cooker do that a pot with a lid doesn't? I'm too old fashioned, enlighten me. I sound 200 years old.

Rice cookers are a great invention. They "know" that the rice is almost done by sensing the temperature, which goes up when the water is gone. Then the cooker changes from high to simmer to finish cooking and keep the rice warm without burning on the bottom.

Instapots are pretty sweet. Crock pot, rice cooker, pressure cooker and more all in 1

damn fine at making yogurt too.

ok, welp, Blair is still out there, but it could def be worse....turnz out that where i'm at ended up bein on the northern edge of the whole thing, so it hazn't really been that bad....no power outagez or anything....and thank gawd we've escaped the ice current temp is 17f, with a wind chill of +1....and it'z kinda hard to tell cuz of certain drifting here & there, but i'd say we've only gotten about 3" of snow so far....it'z suppozed to be gone by midnite tonite & they're sayin another 4" between now & then, but we'll see and sorry, but no picz yet....jus took Gracie for a very quick out-n-back in & the last thing i wanted to mess with was a fuckin camera

I think @Son of Hobbes was trying to put the AFN logo on some wooden boxes he had made. He was asking about making a brand and i suggested maybe laser etching a thin veneer to glue up i stead as an idea.
