@WildBill ordering some "brown/amber" colored seed bullets for the AHZ's, and then I was looking at a color changing desiccant bead to pop in them with the seeds, that would help prevent moisture build up and they turn from like blue to pink as they start absorbing moisture.
I really kinda doubt if they need any desiccant. They sat out for quite a while. I would just put some rice In there if I were the least bit worried.
Edit................. When packaging up for distribution,, be sure to go through and Check each seed. Fairly sure they're probably a few duds mixed in there.
With as many seeds as I had, I wasn't going to go through every single seed one by one.
That little static electricity method I used was actually quite effective. It just took a bit of time.
That reminds me of my silly little 3 gal volunteer pot. Grew CrazyS1. She got accidentally polinated. Ripened seeds sprout before Mom is harvested......several! 4-5 week spread of germination.
That little 3gal pot produced two generations and a total of 5 girls. I was surprised that I was able to finish the second generation with liquid organic nutes, homemade and store bought. I think I had two waterings of water only at the very end. Every watering was a witches brew of organic nutrients and microbes.
I think on my next photo run, I'm gonna to the Day1 and Day21 HEAVY defol method.
I think I'm going to do a side by side in the 2X4 tent. It'll be from seeds, so there will be some variation but you can derive a trend.
I'm also changing the way I run the environment in veg and early flower, starting with the upcoming auto run.
Being organic and depending on microbes, temperature can be very influential. Warmer temperatures equals more activity.
While still maintaining proper VPD for the period of the life cycle, I'm going to be maintaining my temperatures in the mid 80s from veg to probably just before mid flower. After that I will slowly lower the temperature to preserve the terpenes.
I think this will work especially well with the supplemental CO2.
