Have you tried a FG knot yet? Best braid to fluorocarbon knot I use two knots the Palomar knot for lures and FG knot for leaders.

You know how to tell that is fake? I don't know a fisherman alive that would share "HIS" beer with any fish, especially a no good bottom feeding cat fish.

I have a hard time cinching the FG down but I only have 50#braid/20#flouro to experiment with. It might work better with 30#flouro. The double Uni works best on this combo for me

Don’t think you’ll see much difference in that poundage it's all stiff it's not a easy no matter what I use both hands and a foot to tie it. The fg knot is the hardest knot I’ve ever learned and still struggle with it especially when it’s rough and windy then I resort to the double uni knot. The fg knot just goes through the guides like there is not a knot there better then any other
