I've gone back and forth on UV-B. The marketers say increased trichomes but there are plant effectors and stressors that do the same thing. Chitosal and defoliation for example.

Added lights = added heat....so I'll pass until there's some reliable science to back it up.

All my leds have come with some small amount of uv/ir chips , not sure if its enough to do anything, but its a cool feature. As for straight up uv/ir add ons, i havent been able to justify the cost.

I know far red lighting is used in triggering the emerson effect to decrease how long bloom takes but that is run by itself before lights on and just after lights off so not sure if it also affects terps cuz i have never attempted it! I’m too cheap to buy additional lighting to try it out!

I am pretty sure it's run just after lights out to put the plants asleep faster

Its both! Pretty sure it’s supposed to wake em up faster too! I’m too cheap to try it and too lazy to set a second timer just for it!

I have it built into my lights and fried my flower the first time I used it per their recommendation.Now I ease them into it slowly for the last few weeks and never more than a couple hours.I also think it helps some on plants that have a tendency for airy bud, but will experiment more on this.I will say this, it fries fungus gnats

And he says no...it's Thursday and I've come out to see Bobby...coz I thought it was Friday......Bobby doesn't come out on a Thursday..
