I don't mind the service/platform but the people do suck can't argue with that

Is it that you don't like Discourse or you don't like Reddit? Because I hate Reddit.

I've never heard of Discourse, and Reddit is just a rumor to me. Twenty20 got me to try Discord, but it's terrible.

Honestly IMPO I think we can get more new members with a reddit style forum. The few people I've referred here my age and younger have complained how this forum is setup. The young generation likes the reddit setup rather then the old school forum look we have here

I have Discord as well; I think it's hot garbage. It's like an evolution of TeamSpeak or Ventrilo if you ever used those for gaming ages ago, but it's meant for gaming. The community building part of it is weaker than the engine in @420Forever 's Chevy Metro.

The appearance, layout, and finding thing is the #1 complaint I've always gotten about this forum. We are "old school", even by forum standards.

I think we can have our cake and eat it too on this one.

And I agree with you, I think we're going to pull in more members using Discourse versus our current (Xenforo.)

Well that really sucks......the wife and I spent the holidays alone, avoiding the plague .......neighbors kids brought us a gift and now I feel like I got run over by a truck. Slept for close to 20 hours yesterday and I think I will go lay down again. Every bone in my body aches and Its hard to breathe. Sometime you just can't win for losing......
