Ya and going to dallas all the toll roads out there are basically like tunnels running under the main highway so they usually have to close them cuz they turn into skating rinks so traffic always winds up being horrible cuz even when the main roads are clear enough to traverse the toll lanes are blocked off! If not u have idiots who have no experience and therefore no business driving in cold weather but they will be cruising the 75mph speed limit til they hit a patch of ice and lose it!

I saw this with my own eyes when I lived in Houston. Did not take much in the way of ice before the cars were just flying all over the place

People that don’t regularly drive on snow and ice forget that inertia exists…..

Snowing where you all are yet?

not yet....suppozed to come in around 3 or 4 in the morn...."periodz of light snow" all day they say....1-3" accumulation....we'll see

It's gonna be a cold weekend. Like really cold.

People that don’t regularly drive on snow and ice forget that inertia exists…..

They also tend to not have much in the way of how physics work

I saw this with my own eyes when I lived in Houston. Did not take much in the way of ice before the cars were just flying all over the place

Couple years back when we had a freeze the night it all started to go to hell we had snow overnight and it got melted next day and following night the temps dropped so quickly that I-35 froze so quickly we had like 130 car pileup! It was crazy!
