Infused hot chocolate before bed! :coffee::eyebrows::woohoo1::rofl:

I gotta say it was nice driving home from discount tire and not having my tires spin every time i took off from a stop! Worth the $200! Luckily when i initially walked outta discount tire saying i couldn’t afford them today the guy followed me out soon after and said he would do the tires they had in stock but price match the $65 cost they woulda been had i bought them online! He said those particular tires take a week or so to come in so he did that price on ones they had on hand!
I have been getting my tires from America's Discount Tires (same company as Discount tires) for many years now. Their service is second to no one! I am actually waiting for the tires for my Bolt to go on sale as they are close to done. I bought a set from Costco once but when I needed service on a trip the little town did not have a Costco and America's Tire fixed my flat for free and had me on the road in less than 30 minutes. I was so happy I have been with them ever since.

Traction is a good thing!
Snowing where you all are yet?
I have only seen snow on the ground here in the valley three times in my life. I live in sunny California :crying: :crying: :crying:I don't know how it got that name when the Tule Fog will be so thick tonight that visibility is expected to go to ZERO feet. I don't need to be out in it but Ms. MOG will be driving to work early tomorrow. We had a 30 car pileup that made the national news a week ago. It gets just like a white out in blowing snow. Just throw a sheet over your windshield to get the effect.

Supposed to get 14-16in here from Sunday into Monday. I feel like that was a regular thing when I was a kid, but it's a big deal now  Work already cancelled for Monday. I can't wait. I don't have to shovel or even clean off vehicles anymore. Not supposed to warm up above freezing so it's gonna be around a while though:snow1:

You make your wife do it or what?

People that don’t regularly drive on snow and ice forget that inertia exists…..    :pass:

Hubby says it's not your driving you need to worry about in snow and ice.. it's the drivers who have passed their driving test without driving in it.

They are fairly confident in their driving skills..then they hit it and don't know how to handle it. :pass: ..

Apart from when we had the big ice storm... #WhiteRabbits ..we don't normally get snow or frost ...but the roads in summer with a tiny bit of rain turn into skid pads.. junctions are a nightmare when you try to stop..and everyone who skids must use a road sign as a brake.....so when you see a lot of road signs down..you know conditions are slippery...

I think the sun is to blame.. sometimes there is more tyre rubber on the road surface than tarmac...:pass:...
