Yeah same here, my one minor complaint but for it to seal properly it doesn't bother me. I might hot glue it to the lid so I don't have to keep putting it back.

Good to know.. Do you know if you have the PE coated? Looks as if you do.

I have OCD about rosin on the seal, so I'm insanely meticulous about keeping it from the seals... .

Couldnt you simply cut out a seal replacement from parchment paper? Or sheet silicone https://www.mcmaster.com/86045K58-86045K581/

So I am a little concerned. I always heard that anything under 55 would kill the plant. It got down to the mid 40s and well, my fucking dog decided to slide the door to the greenhouse open with her snout last night when she went outside before bed. I didn't know about it and when I went outside this morning, the temp inside the greenhouse was 50. Did I just lose all that work because of my fucking dog?

Ok, once you press that wonderful rosin onto the parchment paper, I assume it is thin due to heat, is the next step to cool in a fridge/freezer?
