Could be a different type of garter. The only venomous snake in Michigan is a rattlesnake…. No need to worry about anything other than that one. Everything else is basically rodent patrol.

It is a brown snake, Storeria dekayi, harmless and common where you live. Good idea to be careful when you aren't sure what you are dealing with though. Good for you for not killing it.

The tiny glass screen on my AirII was cracked from the fall. It is possible that the screen was the only thing buggered, but after a few days it would not turn on even after charging. Bit of a shame, but the vape served me very well for a few years, and the new AirMax is a worthwhile upgrade. The glass stems from my AirII fit the new vape, which saved me a few bucks. Sadly the battery does not fit, which I don't complain too much about since the larger battery in the AirMax lasts a lot longer. I lost track of the number of times I got caught short with the AirII. It virtually never happens with the Max. It was always a bit of a piss off to wake up at 0230 and find the vape dead when I needed a hit to get back to sleep.

I just make sure to get good and baked before bed so that doesn't happen Once I am asleep I am good to go

I seem to have a bit more finesse required. If I overdo it, sleep does not happen. If I underdo it, sleep does not last, if it starts. The sweet spot for vaping gives me maybe 3 or so hours, so my normal is to hit the vape again during the (for me) obligatory piss break. It works, but will be replaced by MCT oil tincture when I find a mix that works for me. So far no luck for me, excellent luck for my dearest. A work in progress.
