When we came to Spain I kept seeing this really ugly succulent..mainly grown up palm trees it looks parasitic and I didn't see Why people would let it swamp the palm trees..until Septemeber...

Two men were walking home after a party and decided to take a shortcut through the cemetery just for laughs. Right in the middle of the cemetery they were startled by a tap-tap-tapping noise coming from the misty shadows. Trembling with fear, they found an old man with a hammer and chisel, chipping away at one of the headstones.
"Holy cow, Mister," one of them said after catching his breath, "You scared us half to death -- we thought you were a ghost! What are you doing working here so late at night?"
"Those fools!" the old man grumbled. "They misspelled my name!"

Ugly gnarley old succulent with the Most Amazing flowers...
My 2nd husband was obsessed with cacti and succulents. I was astonished at how beautiful the flowers that come off them are. Yet to see an ugly or average looking flower bloom on a cactus or succulent.
Happy Birthday Mr Krug, many happy returns of the day. Sorry to hear you have no smoke where you are. The supreme leader and I had to go without for the 1st 14 days of our vacation cos we were in North America and did not feel like breaking the law so far away from home. (Yes - we were totally chicken). Try to enjoy your day all the same. Congrats :Cheers me Dears:

Between us and the beach is a really steep hill..half way down the hill is a pretty Spanish cemetery...with the holes in the walls for remains..totally different system than we have in the UK.
Just round the next bend is a shepherd's cottage and behind you can see a compound for his sheep...and it is Rank...
If the wind is in the right direction it clears your sinus's and makes you eyes water both at the same time.
Intense ammonia and the smell of old greasy lanolin...Industrial strength.
So we are sitting in the café one day discussing what will happen to us when we die and our friend says when he dies he wants his body taken back to the UK...
It is really expensive so we all asked why...?
He says..well..I don't know what they do with the bodies over here...but everytime I pass that Cemetry it bloody Stinks....

my wife took a picture of a haunted mental institution in NY state once, and we're the only two who can see the face in the window. had a paranormal check it out and notjhing came of it, but to this day, we both see it clearly
