I was talking to a Canadian diplomats wife one day in the airport.

The UK was about -1 C..and she was flying back to -20 C in Canada..but she said the UK felt Colder..because of the moisture ridden air.

ONLY -20?! Lol lucky lady! :) I get it waaay worse then that and when u add the windchill factor...brrrrrrrrr!

UK can be thoroughly miserable in the winter but varies year to year sometimes it not too bad and then other year ..well it awful. that cold damp chills you to the bone. One reason so many Scotts take their annual vaycay in the winter and head for southern hemisphere where its summer.

yeah... dampness is definelty a serious chilling factor when its cold... it penetrates your clothes with the cold.... I HATE cold.... me n mossy will be sitting in the carribean with the sun on our backs.... waiting for a passing duck to munch on... :crying:

My daughters mum is Polish and although it can get to minus 40 there in winter she says british winter feels colder because its always so bloody wet and windy! Plus they get snow too, every single year and i can count the amount of times ive seen proper snow in this country on one hand. I dont think its that bad here though, maybe im just hardcore lmfao!
:Wind Chilllll..:

Ya guys wanna see something whacky? I posted over in the help thread, not really looking for help, just wanted to share these crazy thorns/spikes/horns growing out of my Smurf flowers lol! Maybe I should take some more pics and make a thread, never heard of or seen thorns on weed lol. Would love to see pics if anyone else has had them.

I prefer my morning walk to any other.
