Got to disagree with you there Nammy. Faggot is a just a word, but is extremely offensive to many people especially your neck of the woodS (USA)
it was obvious you guys on the other side of the pond were having a fun time with the word, but I think it is the responsible thing for British English speakers to make it clear that it's a word that could get one in hot water with the wrong types. Not trying to rain on your parade.....just my input.

I think its alittle different in the states. I do alot of things in social media geared at getting folks elected that will further the cause of equality for folks that are gay. My brother is gay, came out in highschool. He is now I think 23 and works as an auditor for the state and is still in college. I blew all my money once and had to borrow 300 from him, he called me a fag and loaned me the money. The whole situation was gay. With respect I say to you, its our language and our freedom to use it and its protected by our first amendment and an open dialog about a topic, even with "nasty words", is better than a closed up man feeding hate in his heart. Its an american thing, but we like to take those words that are considered bad and make them our own. Takes the sting out. :D

Y'all inspired me to get crafty! Hahaa well, it's embarrassingly bad... Good thing I'm not a tattoo artist hahaa! "is that a pot leaf or a bad cactus?" lmao! Colored electrical tape, post it note, bad drawing skills, not awake yet =

Hahaa now we're speaking my language lol, ok not really but having spent years in South Florida, ya pick up a wide range of carribean lingo. Bumbaclot is more of a joke and isn't so bad anymore. What you really really don't want to be is any of these: Batti Boi, a bon chi chi man, a raggamuffin (but that's kinda endearing too sometimes), a skettle, a labba labba, or a glamitee. As ya may know, older members of Rasta culture and language is quite against certain sexual groups lol and unfortunately some insults are based on that.
Canada is really diverse we have a huge population of Carribean all of those lingos I have heard over the years BUBMACLOT is not good at all bro in Canada it means the womens time of the month from what i have been told
