Sweet Seeds seem to have good terpene profiles. At least the Red series seeds I have grown have. Last batch of Bloody Skunk has a great grape smell to it that is sweet and nice!

Two or three times I have read the word terpene mentioned . To day I Googled it only to find that I've been buying my seeds for the wrong reason . Who knew . But you must admit Sweet Dark Devil does have an kind of sex appeal to it . Right .

Yesterday as chance would have it I stumbled on an article on dry sifting . Very interesting as I had never heard of it before and it prompted me to think of how some people manage to extract every last ounce out of their plants which in turn made me wonder what people do with the trim that's left over after they harvest . In the past I have turfed everything . Stems, leaves , trim has all gone in the garbage . Now I'm wondering could I have used this material in a positive way ? Woops

I cook everything except the larger stems. sugar leaf trim make oil as good as bud. The big fan leaves and small stems have some CBD etc and a lot of plant waxes. this makes good topicals, especially if you blend some of your more potent cooking/medicinal oil into it. I recently gave some topical oil to a friend who was badly bitten on his hands by a dog, about a year and a half ago. The fellow is an outstanding musician, but he's having problems with pain and joint stiffness. I told him to try it. I also said, I don't know how much it will help, but at least you'll have soft skin....LOL! Well he emailed me yesterday and told me that, being a bit of a skeptic ( like me, is why we get along..lol ) he tried it on just one hand. He tells me that he was actually amazed at the relief it gave him!
So I guess my point is, the whole plant is useful. Ask Root66, you can even use the roots!

There are many ways you can use your leaves and trim etc here are a few examples :- Rick Simpsons oil, canna butter, alcohol & glycerine tinctures, water extrations using ice and bubble bags or gumby method, dry ice sieving, dry seiving, solvent extraction such as qwiso (quick wash isopropyl extraction) qwet (quick was ethanol extraction) BHO (butane honey oil extraction) steeping in milk to make drinks like lassi, chai tea or hot chocolate, grinding and using as a canna flour.

If considering alcohol or butane extraction proper safety precautions should be taken and would also advice submitting your application the join the BHO section of the forum. Safety Safety Safety always Safety!!

Why not check out the Hash/oil & Edibles section of the forum https://www.autoflower.org/f14/

:d5: Pop!

Roots are a bit of work to process but they work for topical for someone who doesn't want to test positive for thc.

swampman made a nice thread on using roots https://www.autoflower.org/f67/root-rub-root-66-a-27704.html

I did not know that the roots were able to be used I'm definitely gonna have to go read this, thanks for the link :)

Good morning AFN! A few more hours and the crew boat comes to take my ass off this God forsaken ocean and back on some dry(ish) land!

Wish me luck! She's blowing hard out there, and all I can see is massive rollers...

May have to roll a couple fattys for this adventure!
