Yeah they sure will do that....little bastards killed more than one good seedling of mine.

The cheeky bugger was still munching when I pulled it. Chomped right up to where it became stem. As soon as the light hit it, it dove back in like a flash. I bought some dunks and :poof: bugs be gone.

Dunks ? Do tell? I'm still fighting the bastards.

Dunks= Mosquito Dunks = Bacillus thuringi- ensis subspecies israelensis. (B.t.i.). B.t.i. is a bacterium that is deadly to mosquito larvae but harmless to other living things. They sell them at my local hydro supply store for Fungus Gnats.
Amazon product ASIN B007TY52ASGrow well, hope this helps

I bought them at home Depot. I put half of one in a gallon of water overnight then drenched the pots. When prepping new pots I grind one or two to powder and sprinkle in the pot and cover with a layer of soil. I don't know how long it lasts but it cleaned them out.

Edit: Actually I only use 2 tablespoons of the powder per pot. To clarify.
It disperses Nematodes into the water and they eat the larvae. Apparently they don't need much moisture because I had some very active ones on Toof Decays shell when it broke soil 2 hours after I had watered with them.
