I quit the booze nearly three years ago now. Started to want a drink two months on the wagon and thought about the weed I used to love so much. Never was without a small stash but the booze just keeps one from the Cannabis.

Decided instead of going back to that alcohol roller coaster I would smoke on my days off and see how things went. Three years, no booze for the most part. If I get out of town on vacation or whatever I will have a few coors lights but for some reason never really want the alcohol anymore.

That is why I have my hobby now. No shame, embarrassment, hangovers, all of that noise is gone! I was drinking during the week too, something I really don't do with weed. I have no problems waiting for the right time for Cannabis. I seriously think the feds made the wrong chemical illegal.

I quit drinking about 3 years ago also. On booze I make terrible mistakes/decisions and its just bad all the way around. I'm glad i quit drinking because it basically sucks..

I think morality and legality are not the same thing. Im quite happy to break the law, as long as I dont do something I would class as 'wrong'

Ive just become single and my growtent is in my bedroom so no idea what Im going to do if I score haha

Yeah thats a good idea dude, I'll throw some towels on it and play some music. Its such a shame to have to hide it though, I would love to show my garden off to my friends. Maybe one day, eh.

Duuuude LMFAo I thought I was reading some of my story there for a second LOL!! When I was young working at these pizza joints Me n my buddy would slide into the walk in and smoke a joint n sit for a second and the warm air just seemed to kick my in the face with a NASTY awesome High too when we walked out..dunno if it was me but he said it did that to him too..? anyone else notice a rush of..well, HIGH when ya come out of a walk in smoking a joint ?:Sharing One:

Yeah Brother I have done this, ha ha ha. came out once after a two toke ram session, came out, and my boss was standing right there, asking me about something I couldn't comprehend.

Bravo Brother, tis no small task and the best thing I have ever done. There would be no Root66 in my life, or my son, without my being away from alchohol for almost 18 years.

I did that when I was in my 20's at my small local store!!!!! Luckily the owner was working and he didn't smoke but was a self professed libertarian. I didn't even drop it, bought whatever I was buying, reached in my pocket and grabbed what I thought was my cash. It was my bag!!!!!! Put my damn hand right out with it in it. Man those were the days

Vodka was my juice. It is like crack to me. Get that first buzz and it's never enough. When people are telling you what you did the night before and you don't have one single recollection?!?! It's just not a cool feeling. And it makes me just plain mean too. I'm the mellowest person you can meet. I have no idea where all the anger comes from. Good riddance!

Is anyone else out there who has quit drinking like me in that you devour carbohydrates? Seriously the weed helps in that department too but even without I could seriously sit down with a box of doughnuts and eat the entire thing in one sitting. Obviously it's a struggle since a guy can't eat like that all the time but I would if I didn't have some sort of self control. I do let myself go when I have the munchies though LOL Like I said I don't really get to do it that much so whatever, bring on the ice cream haha!

I have so many embarrassing memories on alcohol. Now that im a dad and my son is 5 . He is very very much into cars. When i brought him home from the hospital I had a Nissan 240sx or 200sxUK or silvia Asia. He was and is a big part of me quitting booze and partying and I think about the day he wil ask me to let HIM use my car to go out after he is old enough and I have to think about whats going to happen when he is with his 16 year old friends at the river. 1 friend has vodka the other friend has a joint. I hope he smokes the joint because id like him to come home safe along with my car. I'm a young parent and I have to think about these things. makes me crazy and i hope he never grows up!
