Someone mentioned the 70-72 SS Chevelle

I personally like the 1966 Chevelle, It has the Hardtail, it was the original, not changed by consumer opinion.

Eek

When that 66' came out, all the Chevy guys stopped working on their builds, the thing to do if you wanted a hot car, and ran out and bought them. It was the end of an era. But the beginning of another. You could probably find some 64's still sitting in Maine barns 1/2 built. They were the car of choice there at the time for speed, 57's for looks.

That is some nice cars guys. . Wow.

Sorry, hope you all didn't think I owned them cars

Those are my Dream Cars. I did have a 72 duster once, but it was a six banger with 3 in the tree, lol.

This was my first car...a '66 Ford Falcon...Three on the tree.

Boring being in the UK but I had 4 of these V8's including the Twin Plenum Vitesse but I preferred the 4 carb version, it was pure pleasure working on it!
Pure tailsliding fun, round the track of course!

Best all round V8 I've ever owned was a BMW 540i, just blindingly efficient at everything!

Who wants to go for a ride? Just had a buyer back out so she's still mine for now...
