Looks awesome and so beautiful.
I do like thought of an Island but come the winter the weather gonna get mighty rough coming strait across the Atlantic with no wind break from any trees, you'll be walking at 45 degrees.
I imagine during the winter month getting supplies to the island or getting medical issues looked at may be very difficult.
When people sell island like this in Ireland and Scotland the pictures are always of a nice summers day not a breath in the air.
House prices are getting ridiculous in the UK and I want land to go with it, this island is something I would have considered in the past when I had my dreamy head on.
After looking into the realities of living in remote places like this I came to the conclusion the cons out weighed the pro's. If money wasn't and issue then it is possible to make a set up like this work by making sure you had back up power and good food stock and medicine etc
Living on an island alone would be very difficult for some people but also living on a island with just a few people can get annoying being in each others pockets.
I've known small groups of people living remotely and have seen the lunacy of cabin fever. some have what it takes but you got to be strong and resourceful.
I won't ever afford to live my dream in the UK I have my plans to do it else where but i'm keeping stum about that.
Having this Island as a holiday island I can totally get with, summer months only.
