Well, I have six children so 4 are too old and 2 are the perfect age, 10 & 12. So yep, I went out with the kids and acted like an idiot talking about all the things preteen girls just love to discuss. Mostly boys. No, chilli seed don't need fermenting, tomatoes do. You just dry the chilli seed either in the chillis or out. I like to string them up with thread and a needle so I have about 50 or 100 on a string and hang them in the kitchen. Looks real decorative if done nice and after a few months you can make your own chilli powder when you remove the seeds.
