I schooled up a little north of there for a while and we never got a day off from snow or ice. They and we just dealt with it.

Hmmm... My Christmas list.. Well, let's see, haven't given it much thought actually. Here goes:
Can't think of much else.. I'm a simple guy lol, easy to please.
- New pipe
- More mason jars lol
- A kiss or three from blue
- New pack of Hello Kitty socks
- A partridge (already have pear tree)
- The overpriced textbook on amazon "Cannabis Ethnobotany" ~$150?
- Pack of meowmix for my cats
- Another grow tent for seedlings and clones
Can't think of much else.. I'm a simple guy lol, easy to please.
I've had a few trips into Maine in winter....so when did they start using sand????? Or plowing when there's less than 6" of snow???..................LOL! :Sharing One:
This has nothing to do with Christmas but it made me feel so damn good that I have to re-post it here..
Monday I saw the most unusual impromptu flash event. At the bank, the line was out the door. As we made our way inside, there was an old lady with a cane about 5 people back obviously uncomfortable standing and a young lady told her to sit and she would hold her place until it was her turn, then she could cut back in.
When we were close and she got back in line, everybody let her move up as we got closer and when it was my turn she was just behind me so I stepped aside too to let her be next. She went to the teller, did her business, then turned around with a tear in her eye and broke into "God Bless America" at the top of her lungs. Sofie Tucker herself couldn't have belted it out any better. All business stopped in the whole bank until she finished and many started singing along.
When she finished to a round of applause, the 85 year old explained she had started singing on the radio at 14, worked vaudeville, and had just wanted to repay us all for our kindness.
It was just too cool. I left smiling. I'm still smiling from thinking about it.
