:AFN Site News: Good Morning AFN Stoners....:hug:...sharing one...is everyone well...?

I hit my flat point yesterday going round the DIY shop with the Grinch that steals my husband every year....:no:..he hates Christmas..and lets everyone around him know.

What a PITA.

But today is another day. Onward and upward.

It is bloody freezing here...well..for us..it is just 1 C....:jaw: ..the coldest of the winter so far.
Even the dogs aren't pushing to get out for their walk..you Know it is cold.
Normally they have nagged us into it by now.

We were supposed to go to the Ranch..hubbys name for it..Early today to get some jobs done..but that will be on hold..there is no heat down there yet.

Is anyone partying NYE/New Years day...?..got any Plans...
 
Dang mossy I'd love some nice warm weather like that it -9F witch is somewhere around -23C and it's just the beginning of winter. As I write this the house is cracking and popping from the cold.
 
Mossy it's not to bad here haven't even had a flake of snow all of Dec

As for new years eve I'm taking a trip :RU Stoned..?:
got 3 grams of shrooms :RU Stoned..?: ready to go then to see how long the brainquakes hold off afterwards :grin:

I used to work at a processing dairy..so we always had crews working the holidays.

Boss's favourite saying this time of year was "well..you cant tell the cows it is Christmas eve/day/NYE/NYD.."
it used to really grind on me. :coffee2:

Agghhh.....:Wind Chilllll..:..I never want to be that cold.

I am originally from NE UK so I know the cold..but since moving to spain I have developed a full blown Allergy to it.
I've turned cold blooded..I only Work properly when the sun is on my back.

We are going to the Ranch...couple of bottles of carva....not Romantic you know...."astros Wink wink.."..it is just the furthest we can get the dogs away from the fireworks.

They are Hysterically Petrified.

We used to be reasonable where we live now but a Dutch family have moved in two doors away last year and they set them away...so we need to get away from it.

The Plan was just to sleep there overnight..but with the temps we might be coming back home @ 1am...back to the central heating.

I checked the forecast and the cold is In for days.
 
Morning Miss Mossy and others! :) Thanks for regulatin' round here, it's not a fun job sometimes I'm sure, but it's appreciated :) We all like a happy place to rest and share.

So yeah, alarm just went off... I think it's before 5am which is odd for me lol, but I'm trying to get motivated enough and warm enough to fumble out to the barn and harvest a plant. My AKR is at day one hundred today so it's a nice round cut day. Almost awake enough to handle sharp objects lmao!

Think I'm playing it quiet and safe on the homestead this NYE. I've done enough insane new years partying for about 50 lifetimes in my younger years lol! Now I'm just happy watching it on tv.

Good morning! Cozy in my room (70) but chilly outside (25). Time to pick up some donuts, have a coffee, and roll a fat cone!
 
CC - Dunno where you are but it sounds very similar to my neck of the woods. I was with you all the way untill you said donuts. Now if you had said fish, that would have been perfect.

Boss, I didn't know you were a Geordie or Mackem or whatever. I love the accent. Do you still have the twang?

Good morning everyone!

It's a cold, cold day here in beautiful British Columbia. Not a single flake of snow has fallen in my little Island town so far this year, but damnit I'm a wuss in the cold... Time for some hot chocolate, video games, and a nice big fresh fatty packed with my first real sampling of DP's Think Different! I may type up a smoke report today.... Unless it's as good as I'm told.... Then I'll probably forget... Which in itself, is a damn fine report! :)
