Many moons ago before some of you were born I worked for Bell Canada a major telephone co. I worked as a splicer . We used a product called desiccant to keep the cable dry as it was paper wrapped and absorbed moisture readily . I know some of you are wondering were is this old fart going with this . Well I've noticed that some where some one mentioned using drying packs to control moisture in their weed but these packs are expensive if memory serves me correctly
So this a.m. I searched the internet and came up with these drying product that may be a little cheaper . I know this is a Canadian co. but you get the general idea . You may have a local co. that sells the same or similar product and save yourself some money that you can invest in seed . :tiphat:

Boveda is not a desiccant. It regulates humidity by adding or removing mositure within a range of something like +/- 4%. They are used ( until us potheads discovered them... ) to control humidity in cigar boxes. Desiccants suck the moisture out to a very low level. I use desiccant packs to keep my seeds dry. Boveda packs will last a year or more so they are not expensive when compare to the length usable.

feenix I did what us techies to best and called and spoke sweet to the support operator yes a lady. She gave me a RMA and ill have a replacement Friday.

I was watching a late night TV programme on how people are preparing for the appocalypse with nuclear bunkers and things - it really got me thinking.

If you could only smoke ONE strain of canna for the rest of your days, (or you could only pack one type into the bunker) What would it be????
It's like saying "whats your favourite" ... but maybe not .. maybe your favourite is not the one you'd smoke all the time (can't think why!)

I'm partial to Amnesia Haze ... (and lots of others) .. But if i had to choose Today what i want to take into the bunker, I choose

Girl Scout Cookies (we really should get our auto on with these lol)

I don't really know anything about Firestax Seeds Shop , I have come across them a few time when browsing the web but I haven't ordered from them. The GSC auto are also currently out of stock but thought this might have been interesting to you Blue.

As for a favorite strain Auto Blueberry,you would also have to conserve electricity in the bunker,so would also choose a Grow Northern HS1 which only uses 75W of power.

Growing cannabis plants would also help absorb CO2

I've got some GSC fems for future breeding, I doubt i'll get her to anywhere near 100% auto, but i'll cross her with something amazing!

Autoblueberry is on my "to grow" list - i was initially put off because people said they were sensetive. I'm sure she can't be any more troublesome than some of my other girls recently lol

Absolutely Feenix . You know I've never had an indoor job my entire working life . Even now when I'm supposed to be retired I still work on a golf course April till Nov.

Blue, just finally after all this hype tried a gsc cross
from the dispensary... Mighty fine tasting, looking forward to popping one of these gsc beans to see what the real deal taste like... Currently I don't think I could pick just one strain but if I did it would be atm probably either a c99 or a ghost train haze #1 dance: which Mephisto just released an auto version of the ghost train haze, I will be doing a side by side grow of the auto and photo, though obviously the photo won't be done in the same time)
so many depressing things going on in my life atm am leaning much more to sativa crosses as they seem to elevate my mood
lol Ive always thought of making up a canna seed capsule to bury in the back yard so if the day ever comes at least I'll have genetics that may pop... Lol but no where ready or have time to do such a thing just one of the many fleeting ideas I have running around in this over active head of mine...

Hahaha - I can let you off Elvis.. becuase you have actually grown and smoked Jems and Dragons I'm still working my way towards a dragon grow - another couple of years service in the High Team and Aunty said she'd send me a bean ^_^ ... "if" i'm good
