Good Morning Fellow Growers
Well the LuminiGrow 450R1 has landed and I hooked it up last night . One thing is for sure both this and the Cidly are like having an 747 in your grow area . They are noisy . I don't know if it's the fan or the amount of air that they move to stay cool but they are noisy . Did I mention that their noisy Woops . I have to believe that there will be improvements in this area eventually .
On a happier note my seeds from Herbies arrived and it only took 16 days to get to Canada , I almost expected to see them sprouting . :tiphat:

Feenix as one of the older dudes here I can guarontee your grampa like me is absolutely blown away by the new technology and I love it . All I want to know is it for sale on Ebay yet . :dance2:

Well it never fails . As soon as I shoot my mouth of about how noisy that lumini light was :dunno: I find that if you set it up properly than everything works out just fine .In my haste to get it up and running it seems it was set at full spectrum and the fan was set up accordingly .Kinda like sitting at a stop light with one foot on the brake and the other on the gas waiting for the light to change . I now have it set up on the veg. state and my plants are being bathed in a lovely blue light . :grin:
 
Excuse me while I piss and moan again but are there any seed company's that ship without charging shipping . Dinafem used to but now they charge $ 11.00 cad to ship to Canada . Others charge as much as $ 20.00 cad to ship here by registered mail .When you consider the price of seeds and then add on another 20 it starts to get expensive . Kinda in congruent when I just spent $ 600.00 on another light .:dance2:
 
Try Zambeeza or Royal Queen Seeds they Ship free but they ony carry their own Strains.
 
39b I use Alibongo, since they ship to the states. They charge something for royal shipping, but I don't mind, it is rather modest. And they through in freebies, especially if you ask nicely. And the package is always timely. If you are in Canada Dope-seeds is a very reputable company to deal with.

I'd be suspicious of a seedbank that didn't charge shipping and if they didn't they'd double their already ridiculous seed prices................lol And I guess the "free" seeds help make up a bit on the shipping.
