Are there any mushroom experts out there??
I've found these growing in my garden and was curious to see if they're poisonous or not, I've got rid of what was there as I don't want the dog eating them.

I'm an completely amateur naturalist, but I do spend alot of time in the forest ,probably related to amanita muscara I probably also misspelled the mushrooms Latin genus though

Thanks Dank, like I said I've got rid of all that's there just in case they're poisonous to dogs. I'll keep an eye to see if anymore come up and dispose of them, hopefully before they release their spores

She did they add the staff online thing, I am only on my days off. There then that I pop in now and again.

I took some macro pics with my new camera, trying to figure it out.
These are my first attempt at a macro shot, not too bad I guess,
I was surprised there is no flash with macro, makes it harder.
Have a nice week everyone. Funking Mondays..... Blahh !

Amanita muscaria is a most poisonous mushroom. Death Cap if I am not mistaken.

I would say, for reasons of health and safety, eat 'em all. And the ones that don't kill you are the ones that are okay.

This was a public service post from the Penguin. No need to thank me, I bask in my own glory ! eP.

Yes you are right, they are related to fly algeric another misspelled genus as a young boy my mom would take me and my sister to gather our food in the woods learned all about the plants the animals, how to survive not really something people seem to be into but I really feel at home in the woods.
