How To Trigger Female Orgasm Instantly!...... With A Mushroom
In a recently published article in the International Journal of Medicinal Mushrooms, two researchers John Halliday and Noah Soule have discovered a mushroom that can induce some pretty amazing effects in women.
According to their article the mushrooms, which are found on relatively young lava flows on the island of Hawaii, can induce immediate orgasms in females.
They heard local rumors that female indigenous residents on the island frequently used the mushrooms in aphrodesiastic ways during local ceremonies.
The fungus and its apparent effects were discovered in 2001 by the pair, but research wasn’t done on its effects until recently. Aphrodisiacs are substances that when consumed, create an increase in sexual desire as opposed to things like Viagra that treat specific dysfunctions. Bright orange clusters of this fungus grow on lava flows that are 600 to 1000 years old and the pair heard about the surprising spontaneous orgasms it induced.
Understandably doubtful of this fantastical claim the couple commenced with trials on a small population of volunteers though I can’t imagine it was hard to find willing participants. The subjects took large whiffs of the fetid smelling fungi, and the pair recorded signs of arousal.
All participants experienced heightened arousal with 50% experiencing spontaneous orgasms, and it is worth noting that the women who didn’t experience spontaneous orgasm were given much smaller doses than those that did. Men were also tested, and none of them displayed any of the effects evident on the women, in fact, the men reported that the smell was repulsive.
Apparently after studying the chemical composition of the mushrooms the pair concluded that chemicals in the fungus mimic some of the hormones that human neurotransmitters release during sexual intercourse. The mushroom has yet to be officially named and is known simply by its taxonomic designation of Dictyophora Desv. species.
While the study was scientific and well conducted, it was rather small and conclusive evidence that is well accepted by the larger scientific community will have to wait for a larger more comprehensive study.

Here is another article about this mushroom
We prefer to live in a world where the orgasm-inducing Hawaiian lava mushroom is real
A few readers have expressed doubt about the orgasm-inducing mushroom I mentioned yesterday. It was in reference to an article titled, "Spontaneous Female Orgasms Triggered by the Smell of a Newly Found Tropical Dictyophora Desv. Species," which appeared in the International Journal of Medicinal Mushrooms (Vol 3. p. 162, 2001)
Here's a link to the PDF of the article. The article, written by John C. Holliday and Noah Soule of Next Laboratories and Aloha Medicinals in Hawaii says:
...there are significant sexual arousal characteristics present in the fetid odor of this unique mushroom. Indeed, nearly half of the female test subjects experienced spontaneous orgasms while smelling this mushroom.
None of our readers have, as far as I know, sniffed the mushroom, but they do know their way around Snopes, and they have kindly provided a link to the site's page, which says the mushroom's orgasmic power is UNPROVEN:
Our research did not turn up any other scientific studies about this orgasm-inducing and unnamed Dictyophora species, and the one extant study is itself a bit flimsy. Halliday and Soule conducted a “smell test” in 2001 involving 16 women and 20 men. Six women reportedly experienced spontaneous (but not “earth-shattering”) orgasms while smelling the fungus, and the other 10 (who received smaller doses) experienced an increase in heart rate. What caused the spontaneous orgasms? Halliday speculated that the fetid odor of the mushrooms may have had “hormonelike compounds present” that had some “similarity to human neurotransmitters released during sexual encounters.”
While Halliday’s study is certainly intriguing, it’s somewhat short of representing a rigorous scientific standard: it’s a single, decade-old study that was conducted with a very small sample group and published in a minor journal, one which has not since been replicated or vetted by other researchers in the scientific community.
I have left a message with Dr. John Holliday at Aloha Medicinals, and am looking forward to finding out more about his research.
Interesting stuff... but do you have any further info on the elusive sexy mushroom? If you do please share it with us.
I would love to get some spores and some young lava substrate and try and grow theses phunky lil' mushrooms.
I recon there would be plenty of people who would want to buy them but remember they effect only works on women.
hmmm.... possibly make an after shave out of it... it might pong a bit but the ladies will love you

Edit.. just noticed they look a bit like "Stinkhorns", just wondering if stinkhorns would have the same effect.
If you find a stinkhorn, could you get you female partner/friends to give it a sniff just in case it does have same effects.
Double Edit... Just found out they are "Hawiian Stinkhorns"
Here is another article about them.
CAN AN ORGASM BE CAUSED BY THE SCENT OF A MUSHROOM? – THE STINKHORN MUSHROOM
Legend of the Mamalu o Wahine (Women’s Mushroom)
The Hawaiian Stinkhorn Mushroom
There is a legend, handed down through the generations from a source shrouded in the mists of time. Appearing mysteriously, in varying forms, in far flung regions of the globe, but particularly the South Pacific, telling a similar story various cultures speak of a mushroom with aphrodisiac effects on women.
In the Hawaiian Islands, the high islands of Polynesia, the islands of Samoa,Tahiti, Rarotonga, and the Marquesas.
They speak of a mushroom with peculiar properties; giving rise to tales of women who encounter this mushroom in the forest and fall into-ecstatic sexual fits of orgasmic proportion. Mamalo o Wahine, the mushroom that makes women go mad with desire!
Only when the gods are pleased will they bring
forth this magical plant, and only if a woman leads a good and
virtuous life will the gods reward her with this special treat just
for her pleasure. Or so the legend goes…

But, is there truth to this old time myth?
And how could this benefit the world in modern times?

In an effort to uncover the answers to these questions which occurred to me quite randomly, just as the folk lore itself seemed curiously to flit into my awareness most suddenly one blustery evening while searching for leads in my quest to unveil the mysterious properties of fungi, I ran across an article in the International Journal of Medicinal Mushrooms describing a strange and wonderful practice in Hawaii: women gathering together to search for a particular mushroom. Upon finding it, they inhale the aroma; the scent of which causes pronounced sexual arousal, often orgasmic in nature!
The Following is an excerpt from the article:

Studies Show:
According to a 2001 publication in the International Journal of Medicinal Mushrooms, the smell of the fresh fungus can trigger
spontaneous orgasms in human females. In the trial involving 16 women, 6 had orgasms while smelling the fruit body, and the other ten, who
received smaller doses, experienced physiological changes such as increased heart rate. All of the 20 men tested considered the smell
disgusting. According to the authors, the results suggest that the hormone-like compounds present in the volatile portion of the gleba may
have some similarity to human neurotransmitters released in females during sexual activity. The study used the species found in Hawaii, not
the variety cultivated in China. [44]”

Personal Summary:
Okay, great, so this fungi is the real deal; great news for women the world over, but how can that be applied as a solution to the problems of the earth? It turns out that humans have a lot of pull in the planets ecology. In fact, warfare is a leading factor in many of our negative ecological impacts. For example pesticides are derived from formulas originally used in warfare. So, while it may seem a bit of a stretch to say that more satisfied people have less to fight about thus diminishing international wars, we have only to look at the bonobo’s matriarchal sexual method of conflict resolution to see that there may be something to the old slogan “Make love, not war”. In its most fundamental aspect war can be seen as an extenuation of human kinds inability to get along and resolve basic differences, beginning on an individual basis and extrapolating out to larger groups, and eventually whole countries. One of the greatest benefits of sexual health seems to be an increased sense of well being, but that is just the tip of the iceberg as studies have shown sex improves health not only in the mental arena, but also physiologically. Sexual interaction; boosts the immune system, relieves stress, improves heart health, builds trust and intimacy, prevents erectile dysfunction, and much more! In my experience I feel that a strong case can be made for the following stream of cause and effect: “Healthy people, healthy minds, healthy planet/Unhealthy people, unhealthy minds, unhealthy planet.”
