Well..what a christmas......phoned Mom this morning to wish her Merry Christmas...as the paramedics were outside her house deciding whether to admit her to hospital or not....

Brother his wife and my son directing paramedics..not the best start to Christmas day..
My Mom has blood clot problems..I've know for 10 days they were kicking off..seems the medical profession don't....so everybody loses Christmas day

Phoned my other Bro..no answer..we actually thought he might be working..but apparently his MIL has had a heart attack..followed by another when she got to hospital..she is 90..but fit as a lop..so Fingers Crossed.

Our eldest son split from his wife at the beginning of December..she has been knocking him about..But he is primary carer for his daughter..so we Thought Christmas would be make or break for them.
So..he has gone back..but is not answering his phone at all..so we don't know what is happening.

Sounds like a Normal Christmas huh..?...

We had a brilliant day..no rush..no hurry..hubby stayed off the drink...so a good time was enjoyed by us both..

Biggest Yorkshire pudding in the world..done in a paella pan..and The Elvis's collard greens...in butter...touch of nutmeg.....mmm..mmm...mmm...I wouldn't call the queen me Aunt....

I said to Aunty that I should have taught Billy to Bite the coppers. The daft hound licked him to death, kept jumping up on him and begging for a belly rub.

But, as the wise one pointed out, if he had gone for him, I would be without my best mate. I would be pleading for his release from the pound. So, all in all......Result !

Good Morning AFN Stoners.....everyone ready for a Boxing day repeat...?...

Just finished my xmas dinner. If I say so meself.......yummy. I did not go to Mass today, and I feel bad about that, being a good Catholic boy, but I am not in the best of health at the mo.
I got some steroids and anti-biotics from the doc, so I should be pumping iron soon.

It has pissed it down with rain all day, so no suckling pig on the porch for us. But I'm not envious........Oh feck it ! YES I AM.

It was getting cold when the sun went down....you just wanted to hide out on the Costa del Crime eP..

It would have been much worse if DaddyP had not distracted PC Magoo from my stash. Honestly, you would not believe how close I was to jail. He may be 87 with full blown dementia, but he still got one over the coppers. My hero. Always was. And still is.

Someone needs a karma return for that one eP...

How did Billy react? Hound would have helped them load my lights if they offered him a treat.

Cheers TF.....normally with just the two of us we don't bother with a special Christmas dinner..more likely to be steak and chips..so I really enjoyed having a proper one..even if I had to cook it all..

Mine started out shaky til you kick-started me into the spirit. Santa was good, ate the cookies and Sangria we left out and I slept well afterward. That pig looks roasted to perfection.
I got and gave some nice gifts and even my scammers had miraculously paid on time. Overall a nice Christmas. Tonight we feast Japanese style.
I'm glad you and yours had a very Merry Christmas. Here's :smoking: to an awesome and prosperous 2016.

Edit: I take back the term "We Feast". It turned into a comic version of "Drunken Master" as our chef had hit the Sake pretty hard in a new place in our town. Never thought I'd pay to get pelted with veggies. At a table with eight he missed every mouth every time, veggie tossing into mouth is the signature shtick. Benihana it aint.

Nice krug.....I'm Lucky..with cooking yesterday I just did some mash and used the cabbage from yesterday to make bubble & squeak to go with the left over piggy.
Hubby has gone out to watch Newcastle play on the pub TV......the way Newcastle are playing..he could be too Emotional to Eat when he gets back..
