hey,

this will be my first grow and i live in a country that provides nothing that seems similar to the plethora of things needed for a successful grow.
here are my queries :-

1} can i use a potting mixture consisting of (whats called) lanka compost, coir dust, top soil, sand / and a compost consisting of manure, green manure, brown manure, peet, coir dust, dolomite, hay and i think gleditsia.

2}can i use (for the substitute of all the nutrients ive heard about here) crop master-organic liquid plant food / grow more k44(13-20-20+TE) / nutrifol T 20(20-20-20+TE /nitro plus(30-10-10+TE)

3}we also can only acquire led/cfl light bulbs (normally a max of 35-75 watts) here so any info on how to proceed with lighting will be appreciated.

Hi multibreed...welcome to AFN. :tiphat:

...i live in a country that provides nothing that seems similar to the plethora of things needed for a successful grow...

Join the club! I struggled with my first grows, using the limited amounts of locally-available products and low-powered CFLs. The yields were OK (about an ounce per plant), but not particularly strong. Managed to bring in a 400W HPS without any questions being asked. That has made a big difference.

1. You'll have to wing it with your soil mix. Keep it simple, and make sure you get some sort of reading of the pH. Maybe experiment with different soil mixes if growing more than one plant. If you can get worm castings, mix some in. They're an excellent source readily-available nitrogen and micronutrients. Add coco coir to lighten the soil.

2. Hard to call as I don't know the products. You'll need more N during vegging and much less after flowering starts, when P and K are needed more. The NPK figures you posted don't look ideal, the K44 is a little high in N for flowering but worth a try. More winging it needed. :dunno:

3. Difficult to answer without knowing your grow room setup. I had to use bedside lamps gaffer-taped together. Necessity is the mother of invention.

All this winging it is a great way to learn, but makes for somewhat frustrating grows. Sending grow karma your way. :karma Cloud:

cannaficianado... thanks for the positive feedback

Well you have breathed new life into my plans for the grow, can't thank you enough for the straight talk and positive vibe. I will be setting up my grow room most likely after x,mas . I will start a journal at that point and introduce myself then as well . Again man much love for putting my inner fears at ease.

Glad to help bro.

I have so little to work with, for my current grow I had to burn coconut husks and make a solution for extra K. "Stirring" :slaps: But that's all part of the fun... :Grow & Show..:
