Aquatic Life Twist-in 4-Stage Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System RO/DI Filtration Units for Aquarium, 75 GPD.

At the top of my list so far. I grow about 8 plants per year in soil.

My tap water has chloramine and high TDS.

Open to suggestions.
Thanks

This is the R/O unit I use. Very easy to hookup and portable. Fills a 5 gallon bucket in only 1 hour. I’ve been running it strong for over 5 years now and pump about 20-25 gallons a day out of the little unit. I have never changed the filters since I bought it and the water still comes out at 10ppm.

Thank you I'm curious what your ppms were before filter?

@SHRED 580 PPM on truncheons is huge ~ 0.8 EC Your RO membrane will not last long working that hard. It would be best to put a small RV water softener in front of the RO unit. That will pull out most of the calcium carbonate and replace it with sodium ions that are large in size and easily filtered out by the RO without clogging it up.

My municipal water can be sourced from river water or well depending on the time of year. From the river, it is ~0.15 EC or 100PPM T. if it is coming from the wells it is over 0.45 EC or ~300 T and I need to use the RO.

PS you should use EC or Hanna, EC in most of the world and Hanna in the USA.

This is the RO unit I use but it has gone up over $50 since I bought mine.

This is an example of an RV water softener.
