This is my first grow with the @Marshydro TS1000 from their 420 give away event.

Thank you.

I was able to source some seeds that are reputed to be a landrace sativa from the Ituri forest in the Congo.

This strain can reach 4% THC-V, and should be very interesting both visually and in effect.

I'm putting this into my 3*3. Past grows of landrace sativa suggest that one plant will fill the tent. I'm going to sprout 3, and when it gets too crowded move the other 2 to my other grow area.

Let's unbox this light and have a look.

A couple of changes from the older TS1000: The ballast is now LG.

The connection from the ballast has been changed to a more reliable type.

The entire reflector housing is coated white. The older one was bare aluminum.

Seeds arrive Saturday. I'm swapping out my TS3000, and mixing up some organic super soil.

Let's grow!

@Greenleaf Nutrients : one of these is going to get your nutes, and will grow against the Kelp4Less nutes.

I hung the TS1000.

At appx 12" 18/6 it's showing 45+ DLI, which should be plenty.

Seed #1 popped up with no issues.

Number 2 popped up with her helmet on!

Just a little puff of air, and it fell off.

#3 is being shy for now.

Its going to be just tap water for the next week, or until first real leaves.

Edit: Player #3 has entered the game.

I moved the first 2 sprouts to 5 gallon Oxypots. The soil is Roots Organic Lush, with Fishnure, kitchen compost, and Dynomyco. The 3rd sprout is going on a Pyramid.

Their grow cubes have been really good, but I'm not convinced that their Pyramids are as good as super soil. I have yet to grow a Pyramid as big as a soil pot. I'm still testing, because 1 grow doesn't eliminate the 'me' factor.

The black container, which is slightly smaller, but also sold as 5 gallon will be for the Acapulco Gold grow and show when it sprouts, but I'll be posting that separately.

For now, and probably the next 2 weeks just water with mosquito bits. All were watered till runoff before transplant, so I don't expect to water again for at least a week. When I do, the 2 white containers will get different nutes so I can try to make a comparison.

DLI 20, 80 humidity, 74F. 18 hours light cycle.

Oh, wheeled trays are a must have.

Hi, it is really interesting how comes that your pyramid plants don't perform as well as in soil. I found giving them roots some more space downward below the pyramid makes a difference in overall size. For me, i treat them like hydro/dwc, they work like a charm.
But your plants are healthy, so maxing oot growth shouldn't be too hard.
Good Luck for this run!
:pass:

One of the first 2 got a little top heavy.

The plant on the left has been getting the @GreenLifeBiotics kelp, the one on the right the Kelp4Less. The one in the Pyramid, both

I am stunned.

This is at a ¼tsp per gallon foliar on Fridays(twice now).

Dunno what's going on with this one.

Same soil I've used before, and the others are from the same container.

This was given very low (300ppm) feed Friday, and only overnight tap water since seeing this yesterday.

Sulphur def?

I've topped the bigger one.

Thinking about pulling the sick one if it doesn't get better over the next few days.
