Mephisto Genetics Mephisto Chem City Blues and Sour Crack Torture Test

Here will be my attempt at growing out these delightful sounding genetics using the Seymour Buds recipe for success. I've also implemented El Jorilla's use of rockwool in the rooting process for the first time, where I usually would only use the root plug. Wish me luck. This is always the most tedious part of the bubble bucket for me.

And they'll be lit with these, each receiving it's own 9-spot panel:

Don't mind the fly sticky paper, hopefully the fungus gnats will be gone when the soil is removed in the next few days. Word of advice, don't use 'Dr. Earth' soil indoors.

Ive used Dr. Earths soil indoors for a couple years now as well as this grow too.yet it was mixed with many amendments,but Ive used it with nutes n organic feeds and never had fungus gnats.imho I think fungus gnats are a matter of envorinment.unless ya just get a pre infested bag which I know happens. I wouldnt recommend it personally since Ive found small metal rods and plastic and rubber pieces in every bag,well only one for the metal rod.jammed my hand on it too.I'll never buy their product again on that basis alone.your grow looks outstanding,nice LEDs.cant wait to see you blow this up a bit bro.karma for your grow buddy.:gthumb:

Thanks guys! Eyes on Fire, what type of Dr. Earth are you using? I tried 'pot of gold' and after using it fungus gnats appeared everywhere. It was the only new variable added in the tent so I just assumed it was from the soil. I also used a light bit of biobizz grow which probably did not help the situation either. I never had an issue with gnats while using Roots Organics soil.

gbd hey brother.I use this..used it many many times.Ive planted Photos right to it and never had an issue.But with autos I use the plug method eventhough its not a really hot mix.used Jiffys organic seedling mix with this soil.and Ive used the Miracle grows organic line too.:tiphat:

Hey Gilly! Good news- I got a promotion and change of scenery at work! Bad news- this grow is going to be postponed until I'm all settled in a new state. I picked up some of every strain except for the Doubly Bubbly Kush, I do believe! Hopefully I'll be re-established and ready to restart in two weeks. This also means that I'm not going to get to see my Chaze finish or the 4 Grape Stompers that have been vegging for 85 days. It's a drag but work takes priority. Cheers and good luck! I'll be following along.
