Mephisto Genetics Mephisto Chem City Blues and Sour Crack Torture Test

Never saw this thread before, but Sour Crack got my attention :Sharing One:

Wow man, they have come a long way in just four days. They still have a good two weeks of veg growth or even more to stack on nodes. Pretty amazing

Thanks for the positivity! It's always appreciated.

Cheers! I love your name. From JRE, correct? That 'wait, what!?' moment?

We did it way before them, but yeah, that's the idea :)

Day 28 - I've pulled the Sour Crack as she seemed to be taking the torture the worst. I am germing a new one to replace her. I've also got a Tyrone's Special germinating to go in a 5 gallon airpot with a light super soil Roots Organics mix. I'll post updates once they've cracked.

Both the Sour Crack and the Tyrone Special have germed after 12 hours soaking and 12 hours in damp paper towels. They've both gone into root plugs and into their final homes. The Sour Crack is in a bubble bucket and the Tyrone Special is in a 5 gallon (green bottom) airpot.

Very nice dude! I'm interested to see how the soil and hydro will compare, different strains I realize but pretty cool

Don't get any more promotions either bud lol

Chem City Blues - Day 32. She's really starting to bush up a bit and I've begun leaf tucking on her. Currently in her res are:
Rhizo - 25ml
Ca/Mg - 6ml
Silica - 4.8ml
Vega - 50ml

She's definitely a heavy feeder for her size and I seemed to have lucked out with her. She's still vegging while the Sour Crack that was in the other bucket kicked into flower a little early due to the travel stress.

Gilly, I'm not worried about another promotion, this one has been a bit hectic and I'm having enough of a time handling all the added hours and responsibilities. Thanks for keeping up on the thread. I look forward to your next update!

What a tree trunk for such a young plant. Very densely structured ATM, as well. I bet the stretch will be perfect for her...:)

Thanks for stopping by Trap! She's had a light oscillating breeze since she was a seedling so I think that has helped firm up her stature for sure. I've also raised the light a bit to try to help space her nodes out a bit now before she hits her stretch period because she's so dense. I'm guessing I still have another week of veg at least, but I wouldn't be upset if it went longer yet.

Cheers!
