Hi guys,

I bought Candy cane autoflower seeds from Crop king seeds in CA. My plant is almost 8 weeks old and I've had it under 120 W CFL's and have been doing the right amount of nutes. There is still no sign of flowering. Its 19 inches tall and still getting very bushy. Will it ever flower? Or did I end up with a dud male plant? Pics attached.

Thanks.

Hey Cerul,

Best thing to do would be to change the Light Cycle to 12/12 and switch to flower Nutes to help Induce the Flowering Cycle. You could also do 24 hours of Darkness then 12/12 to get the Flowering cycle up and running.

On the Bright side looking healthy. I did not see any visual Balls in those Pics so shes not a Male yet.

Sometimes Breeders make errors on Packing the Beans.

Shot them an Email and let thwm know what you purchased was listed as an Auto and didnt Auto. As i understand Crop king seeds are the Breeders and Releator Correct?

Hopefully she flowers for you and hopefully crop kings helps ya out maybe some freebies.

Let us out the outcome of the plant and how the company handles this situation.

 Thanks Weedman! :yeahthat:
... also, your CFL's, are they horticultural types? The spectrum they're emitting may not be helping things either,....

Thanks Weedman30 & Waira!!

I changed the lighting from 18/6 to 12/12 and also the nutes 2 weeks ago. I have 2 125 W CFL's from hydrofarm focused on it.
I changed from 125 W 6500K to 2700K. I've done what I can and also emailed CKS. Hopefully hear from them in a day or so.

Just an update! After emailing CKS and sending them pics of my plants they sent me replacement seeds for free.
I'm going to go with just one grow at a time now until I figure things out. Hopefully this time things will be different!

Nice healthy plant there did it not flower after putting it under 12/12

I've just gone through this with a cream auto, messed me all up with my diesel.
anyway after 2 months it finially started to flower, its now 3 months and starting to look wicked.
I was going to chop but instead just messed with it, cut main branches off now super cropping every bud as its in my lights.
It was suppossed to be a 70 day grow and mainly indica, well its a sative- long skinny leaves and growing tall.
it now looks like its going to be a decent haul considering i hacked it all up to keep it away from my diesel which i chopped 2 weeks ago.
Cant believe its still growing after i cut 7 of 10 branches off, matter of fact, it grew 1 foot after i cut things off in 2 weeks.

:cool1: great! that was good of them to do so, and duly noted for future reference... not all companies are so motivated it seems,... Yes, what happened finally? did you toss, or did she come around finally?

Coot- :clapper:way to grind that b*tch out brother!
...the auto breeding process isn't perfect, and mother nature has her ways of fighting back or mixing things up whether it's the auto genome, or fem'ing :eyebrows:,... even a little sloppiness can show up in that next generation,...

...hey Deep! ..gotta check in at the Infirmary on your girl later,....

.
.looks like some Rep' love to slapped out all around! :slap:

Unfortunately, I chopped my plant down. I should have been more patient. It was my first grow and many lessons learned most importantly the existence of this forum.
Thanks guys!
