Outdoor My Second Grow - 5 strains - autumn early winter harvest - Australia

All going well down here mate just about have all my plants finished up for the summer season and thinking about what to run this winter. Going to try and grow one inside under CFL in my seedling box for something different . How you doing man?

Hey Green Bandit That's great news mate the girls are almost finished up, then the harvest and chopping. I will have to see that thread with your indoor grow. I almost thought i need CFLs forecast isnt that great but least its fine this morning and only 1 brief shower yesterday. Any thoughts on the winter crop? I am doing better now mate and yourself? Maria and Beerguy helped and now longer stressing. I like the idea of Beerguy and the DVD case

Thanks Beerguy, thats a great idea mate, around 2am, when I woke dreaming about the plants , and got a dvd case and did as you said, i have to wait till my brother wakes to get more. I can see how perfectly the seeds are going down with gravity

This morning make up pots ( centre small pot will stay in place build the medium around it, then fill with seed raising mix and then remove. Plant the girls later today, and see how they are going, least pots will be ready

Temp 21.3c ( 70.3F)

I think i went a bit OCD on the pot drill holes -might plug a few up with hot glue. Got the table prepared and ready to move in.

All seedlings now upright with dvd case - all a bit curled expect Charolotte's Angel she is perfect

For the pots used approx 60litre of potting mix ( already has some product in it for drainage) with 15L of perlite (wet), seemed to be seeping out so removed most of it from the Tera pots, as noticed that Exodus Cheese had crack and removed her shell, and also Super Lemon haze had also grown a long tap root and the DVD case worked and was now going down.

Pots 4 and 5 are the Tera pots (20L) with both Greenhouse seedlings - hopefully they will be okay being advanced like that i made a hole with twizzers and then with my hand gentlely touched the seed (SLH) and leave( not sure of the name) of EC, and pushed gently both down with twizzers


With the remaining small pots? should i leave it with all the perilte in it or remove some and replace half with potting mix?

Thanks Beerguy Yes i left it a bit late, first grow was bad they all had leaves, so i left it too long. I was stressing over the soil as base of pots always wet, but maybe too much perlite

Exodus Cheese had sprung up, but not sure if she is okay , bit brown, maybe its part of her shell

Things seem to be ticking over nicely mate . you can carefully pick the last bit of shell off , our just leave it and it will come off on it's own .

Thanks Hecno, i think i can recall now mate, that the Northern Light Blue (little one) she also had a bit of shell on and didnt grow much then took off like a rocket and caught up with others lol

only conern now is
I may have over done the perlite this time - water a base of pots, as the soil has zerolite ( like perlite in it), cooler conditions maybe its a good thing

update girls out in sun, :drool: not anything for super lemon haze this morning then i saw some green she is about to rise up, have to sort soil or keep it as high perlite for others, as they will be ready today i think to plant out

Super Lemon Haze - waking up

Left Charlotte's Angel a bit long in paper towel, now she is happy in the soil

use a cut out pot in centre to fill seed raising mix for girls ( fill around it and left it up)

I was corned i added too much perlite to mix but, I think its okay and wont stress about it anymore cant do any harm for girls - into cooler months anyway

I was trying to wait for Pineapple Express and Girl Scout Cookies to straighten with BeerGuys dvd case trick, but the girls had already cracked the seed with leaves so, not exactly straight
PE looks the weirdest and GSC, had to be planted a baby leaves

Had them in some sun and let them have a bit of alight mist now and then as the sun felt warm then a little rain before i took them undercover, can still get light there later in the day
