After my raving about the scope, it came with corrupt software that shows great on the screen but corrupts the jpg. and they won't load or transfer.

That sucks, are you able to re download the software online to see if that might fix the issue?
Can't find firmware for it anywhere. I'll end up sending it for replacement. It's supposed to write jpegs but is putting out a corrupt png. that none of my programs can read .I can inspect the trichs but nothing else. It came from China and they usually make a cash deal instead of taking it back..
Wonder if you might be able to try the app from www.camerafi.com/ or they have camerafi on google play
Was going to suggest that, or transfer the files to PC and see if they open with GIMP (Gnu Image Manipulation Programme, think of a free, open source, version of Photoshop)

I ended up with this WiFi model off Amazon and it works pretty well. I like being able to film video with it. Lol. It’s kinda fun looking around. I even found some mystery beetle hanging out in a trichome forest right before I harvested!

Yeah but I needed it. With Prime I had it 2 days later so I could verify it was time to start chopping. I’m usually pretty cheap about stuff but this time I just wanted it quick and to know it’d work or I could get a replacement within a day or two. I HATE dealing with China anyway - the long wait on shipping, no returns or exchanges (at least without great hassle) and just dealing with China period. Besides, we’re talking about a high value crop so I’m not all that worried about spending $30 extra for convenience. Last couple times I ordered stuff from China through Alibaba and Fastech it was a pain and a disappointment. So, o kinda quit bothering with them.
Never done Fastech, I pretty much use AliE but do that little bit of "forward planning" so the average 10-14 days delivery is not an issue.
Have to laugh at those who use Wish though, they THINK they're getting a bargain but by the time you add on their shipping costs it ends up costing more.
Saying that, I was able to get a small hand held 60x scope with light, not the one for the phone, from a supplier in Holland within 48 hours for next to nothing, whereas if I went on the Bay of Fleas or Amazon the cost would have been quite a bit higher once delivery was added on, so it pays to look around rather than just go to the "big names" like Amazon as I've noticed that the markup on some things is ridiculous.
