What's a good cheap organic source of K

I mixed my newest Transplants 50/50 promix bx and sifted sun baked rich dirt from a manure pile

I have 13-0-0 blood meal and 1-15-0 bone meal to top dress with

I'm thinking a combo of green sand and garden tone?

Green Sand is good, so is hard wood ash. Also kelp meal but it also contains as much N as K, and you may not need the extra N. Granite rock dust is also good but is slow acting, which is fine if you are mixing your soil far enough ahead of when you plant.

Comfrey is a great source of potassium and you can grow it yourself. You can harvest up to 5 pounds of leaves from an established plant every year. It breaks down very fast. You can add to your compost or to your soil mix if you prepare it a few weeks in advance as you would with a TLO mix. You can also make a potent fermented tea or concentrate. If you get the Bocking 14 variety, which is sterile, you don't have to worry about it speading by seed and it will not go crazy in your yard.

"Yarrow, one of our favorites, carries more than 6,000 species of microbes on its leaves and makes an excellent microbial inoculant as well as an overall source of nutrients and complex amino acids." https://farmacyseeds.net/forums/show...hlight=comfrey
I planted yarrow in between my comfrey plants this year. I knew it was good, I had no idea it was "6,000 species of microbes" good, wow.

I'm on it. Feed me JM
