I enjoyed my 1st grow so much that I got a 4x4 and decided to start another journal growing with 3 different soils. I bought 1 bag of of and it was not enough for the space i had so i decided to mix my own soil up for the rest of the pots but my woman wanted to try miracle gro after i told her people say its bad for cannabis so she will be growing 1 gdp and 1 tomato plant in the 4x4 with me for fun, i will grow 1 gdp in miracle gro with her. so a total of 8 plants and 1 tomato, 4 gdp 4 blue dream.
This will be a weekly journal :smoking:

Planted seeds 4/30/21
Strains: Grandaddy Purple Auto and Blue Dream Auto
Breeder: ILGM
Pot Size: 3 gallon fabric and 5 gallons fabrics
Medium: Foxfarm Ocean forest, miracle-gro moisture control, and a custom mix: 1cu promix garden mix organic, 1cu perlite, .5 cu humus/manure, 1cu compost, 2 cups bone meal, 2 cups blood meal, 2.5 lbs greensand, 1.5 cups epson salt, and 8tsp of TM-7 that mixed up 30 gallons of soil.
Lighting: bp3000+bp1500
Tent: Mars Hydro 4x4
Light cycle: 18/6 to save power and reduce heat
Fans: 2 clip on pole non-oscillating fans, ac infinity t6 with a 4 inch filter, 4L humidifier, tower fan hung upside down
Nutrients: Top dress with barley straw, buildaflower, and craft blend
Grow Time: 8-10 weeks
Tent temp/humidity: 69F-85F 45-65% humidity. seed-seedling 60-100%
Tap water/rainwater: my tap is pH 8.0 200-250ppm, i collect rain water and use that but when i run low i cut it with tap water or distilled water.

Day 0

Lights:
bp3000 dimmed to 150w, bp1500 100%
Light height: 40" from soil

Environment:
Temp ~ 69.3°F - 82.4°F
RH ~ 61% - 95.3%

I should call yesterday day 1 but its whatever its when i notice most of them sprouted but today when lights came on i noticed 100% germination rate (still waiting on tomato)

I lightly misted the soil in a circle then added barley straw and repeated on top of that for each plant. i removed their clear cup domes as i am keeping the RH high as i can inside the tent.

Day 1

Lights:
bp3000, bp1500
Light height: 30"-33" from soil
EDIT: After reading the bloom plus manual i decided to say fuck it and follow it, 100% power both lights germination 30", seedling 24", veg 18-24", and bloom 12-18" in 7 days i'll lower both lights to 24" and call that seedling stage and 7 days after will be "veg" and lower some more from there.

Environment:
Temp ~ 71.2°F - 81.5°F
RH ~ 60% - 88.1%

I know i said weekly updates but i am shocked with 100% germination on everything and in 2-3 days at that.
we planted 7 tomato seeds and all 7 popped up during lights out along with all 8 cannabis plants.

I will 100% always plant in final pots from now, what is the point of solo cups anyways lol you just need a soft pocket of some peatmoss or promix in the middle and dust some over the seed 1/4" down, mist and done.
