Hey guys just fallin on some hard financial times and gonna have to do some runs..been real into the auto thing for a while but i have never done a full run. just a few freebies here and there. This time full auto single strain and hopefully start the breeding for stability. I was wondering have much variation most ppl find between phenos in a pack of autos? particularly when it comes to height ?? are most strains pretty uniform?
I was gonna go cheap beans this first run. lookin at the bay i see f2 LR2's for amazingly cheap, which in my current situation is a real plus. I had a 3 pack of originals and they did nicely very earthy skunky and a few purpled out at the end of flower. Does anyone have any suggestions for cheap beans that are great yeilders??
Well i hope to hear your thoughts and suggestions. any input would be great help. If u guys would like i could prolly get a couple snaps of the room in progress.
A few details on the room XXL sun reflector with 1000w hps / t5 early weeks i think. Bubble mylar wrapped room with a 5 foot by 30 inch wide table. carbon filter to fan vented right out of the room.

I understand bro but personally I don't feel comfortable talking about grows for profit (unless medical) on a public forum. We are enthusiasts here with a genuine love and respect of the plant, for medicinal and personal recreational use. It's just not the vibe I'm down with, sorry.

I am going to say this and then say no more on this thread:

1. Being cheap doesn't do anyone any good. If you want good pot, get good seeds.
2. Saying your gonna just start your own breeding of autos is super naive. Ask any breeder. It takes generations to create a stable strain of seeds.
3. We are here to help each other with our hobby and passion of growing great cannabis. We are
not here to create money or income flow.
4. Before you make any more posts, take some time to look around and others grow journals etc. Do some research dude. We are not the resource for those who do no research on their own. We are here to help, not to do it for you.

You get what you pay for for sure...LowRyder is good stock but they are on the dwarf side so going with them is suficiant for personal use.........Talking about comercial growing is not gonna get you a lot of responces so don't get bogged down have a look about and check out some grow reports and see what you fancy?

Hey, B2tG.. I'm not going to reef on your motivations. But for the grace of.. Truth. That said, AFN isn't like other sites. If someone here is growing for commercial gain, they don't put that out there. Like the opening screen says, "AFN doesn't condone illegal activity". Please don't read the responses as mean or hateful- we're protective, of a place that tries to stay out of the usual forum bs, and sniping. Clearly, you have a financial need/motivation. My advise is to "go with what you know" to ease that need.
Blessed makes a good point. Autoflower breeding is a skill that is not easily taken up. It would be in direct opposition to your needs, as stated. If a quick cash grow is what you're after, then it sounds like you already have those skills, and can get a crop to harvest quickly. If you want to delve into autoflower breeding, thats an entirely different scenario. If AFN can help you to learn about autos, and their breeding subtleties, then by all means, Welcome! If you're looking for a quick buck, most folks here will come up offended, methinks. I mean no ill will. But, its only fair to lay it out truthfully.

ya but threads with names like 4000w flip room stadium style grow dont scream personal use either...sorry for being honest. if i woulda said to save myself money from buying you guys woulda been on board and that woulda been financial gain as well.. anyway you sure know how to make someone feel welcome.. and trust me i have read more forums and books than everyone that responded to this thread combined... since the days of OG. I was looking for a more active new group of ppl to bounce ideas off of and learn about something i dont know that much about... autos. Of course i love the plant and nurturing them. But i feel negative karma here for no more than voicing my situation.. anyway ill prolly delete this acct an go to one of the 15 other sites that are every bit as informative if not more than this one.. Nice meeting you few cool ppl that msg me..

I'm very sorry to see that you got started on the wrong foot here at AFN and am frankly disappointed at some of the responses in this thread. Yes, we have people here who do commercial grows but we generally don't talk about it for obvious reasons. We pride ourselves in carrying a helpful, friendly vibe, which unfortunately wasn't displayed in this thread. I think you will be hard pressed to find another forum which is dedicated to autos the way we are here.

I don't think LR would be the best choice for your purposes. They tend to be small and mid potency at best. I would suggest you take a look at the Short Stuff line. They are one of the few seed banks that offer all their strains in both regular and feminized versions and are reasonably priced. Buy some regulars and grow out a male. Use the pollen from it to dust one of the lower branches of a female. One small branch can easily yield 50 or 60 seeds. That will keep you going for awhile.
