Hi all. This is my first time here. I'm from Boston Ma. I was glad that @BigSm0 was able to show me this site as the other sites out there aren't designated for growing like afn.

@BigSm0 has been assisting me pre grow, helping me with a selected medium, a light, and strait up knowledge. I came here to further spread my knowledge and also to gain from others. As I start my venture I may plan to make a journal. I'm just reluctant posting 100s of pictures on the internet. I don't have a proxy or whatever.

As far as my grow:

I have a
-3 x 3 x 6 tent
- amare s-450 uvb
- general hydroponics nutrient line ( micro, bloom, veg)
- calmag from bonticare and general hydropinics
- nectar from the gods- ph up
- using coco and premier promix ( bx ) all they had.
- grow stones, basically a bigger perlite stone, doing 50/50 mix of growstone to both the coco and promix. ( these stones your roots grow through them) seems like a nice aerated product!

The crop:

1 seedsman sensei skunk
1 humbolt blue dream
1 Dutch passion auto night queen
1 bomb seeds thc bomb

In my second week, starting to give 1/4 nutes now, plan to feed every day, along with a cal mag foliar spray..

Humidity 40-50
Temps 70-80
Nutrients p.h'd to 6.4

P.s

Don't use potting mix from lowes for your plants fungus gnats all day. Almost wiped out the crop!

Welcome along dude. Sounds like a good set up. Your going to kill it.
Post some pics dude. Feds arent interested in someone growing 4 plants at home they wanna catch commercial sized cash crops

Not much to show! But when everyone says I'm going to kill it...I have to kill it! Spent much money on the setup. I believe if you buy good things they will work.

About the lowes soil! Had the plants in lowes soil for a week. Got crazy gnats, plants were growing slow..why I went with lowes I'm still guessing...well I was nervous about locally shopping at the hydro store...not anymore lol..store was real helpful!

Spent another pfft...150 on soil and a few nutrients...

This picture was taken yesterday...after I re transplanted them into coco starter plug material I had... I literally panicked when I saw all the gnats 2 days ago...threw the lowes dirt directly outside..

Don't be surprised if you see those feckers again. I hope you got rid of them but all it takes is one straggler.
I would get yellow sticky traps, to be safe. Easier to get rid of, if you catch em quick

Ok so growth is continuing, it's going faster from what I see, maybe coincidence but probably not.

Second set of leaves are starting to show, also the stems where the buds grow on under the fan leaves, those leaves are starting to show on 3 of them.

Put the light to 26 inches, the night queen bottom left corner has noticeable damage, new growth is fine, but it seems the damage on the older leaves got a tad worse. See how new growth does.

The blue dream top left gave me problems from day one, most likely living in shitty soil for the first week. Seems to be growing like the others...just keeping my eye on him.

The thc bomb and the sensei skunk are looking great.

I scrubbed down my tent. Threw away the pots ( put them in the backyard for a potential outdoor future grow)

2 days no gnats. I was pretty confident I would get them away if I change pots, medium, and clean the tent. The soil smelt my tent up pretty bad, it's smells rather pleasant now...

Hopefully I never have to deal with spider mites. Those are the real killers.

Home Depot has sticky traps I assume? What is a large retail store that will carry them? Walmart? Walgreens? I'm best off using google ha ha ha... never mind!
