New Grower New to growing have a cfl lighting question

Personally though, I'm not satisified with the results of the cfls and am going to upgrade to hps/mh.

I am using them for the first time. Well...about to at least.

I have seen some killer grows with cfl. Eventually I will join the LED club though.

Those leds though are outrageously expensive and I keep hearing conflicting results about them.

My advice is get 4 23 actual watt bulbs per plant veg, and at least 6 bulbs per plant flower. For 5 plants man, you are gonna a decent amount of light. 8 bulbs aint gonna do it.

thanks 1highman i will be getting 5 off the pack of 4 cfl bulbs i mentioned earlier which will give me a total of 20bulbs this should be more than enough

Yes that should be plenty. How are you wiring all of those up? Just curious.

LEDs are badass, they keep getting better and better. Although expensive, there are a few models that we know work great.

But I'm glad that lights such as cfls work good though because they're so easy to get and fairly cheap.

hey squid i was going to setup it up like this i have 2 lamp fixtures that each fit 5 bulbs was going
to get a two bulb splitter for each socket on the lamp fixture does that sound ok
