Grow Room Nirvana Northern Light and Short Rider Micro grow

Probably not much of a difference except for trichome maturity ... sure is a healthy Short Rider ... based on your last SR do you prefer an early or late chop ?

This beauty is about the best looking Short Rider I've grown. I'm gonna chop her down in a few days. :dance:It's too crazy now; with Christmas presents and such."MC5"

She's ready to go.:smokeit: My last SR grow I waited too long. "Woopsadaisy" Just have to get the time to chop her down.:jump:

There were two Shorties in my last grow. One was cut down at 75 days and the other at 90 days. They both were about the same in potency. This Shortie (SR#1) is picture perfect and is on her 72nd day. She'll be chopped soon.

My two Short Riders look terrible but the buds are frosting very nicely and will be harvested in the next couple weeks once the pistils turn brown (8 wks)... I expect about an oz harvest total ...

I haven't posted any photos of my SRs because they have looked so unhealthy ever since I gave them their own space. At first I thought they would improve but they've just gotten worse ... there has been a fertilizer problem from the start w/ them .... same seeds as yours so they had potential ... if I get an oz off the two of them I'll be happy ... Nice fat buds, mostly white pistils ... I'm amazed they are still alive ...

That's one thing about Nirvana's SRs. They have nice fat buds. All mine have had huge colas. My SR#1 (gonna chop soon) has a main cola of 10" tall and the base is the diameter of a Coke can. They do have an issue with ferts. Getting off on the wrong steps in the beginning. They are hard to bring back to normal. However, they seem to thrive even looking like crap. Not a bad vape for a quickie"toke toking"

Glad to hear it vapes well ... I've got three more of these seeds. My plan is to use them w/ 1 gal root pouches and a 1/2 soil tab ... start them in May for a NY outdoor grow ... reason only 1/2 tab is I want them to stay small and additional fertilizer can always be added ...

We know they'll take a full tab w/o an issue. I'd grow Short Riders again. "Grow & Show.." Easy grow and they will give you a 1/2 way decent smoke or vape.:stylez rasta smoke:

My friend in NY needs plants that are nearly indestructible and it appears the SR qualifies ... The past two years he pulled the plants out when they grew too tall ... he won't LST them and I'll be back home almost as soon as they go into the ground so they'll have to stay short on their own ... actually I plan on using that ponytail technique to bush them up ... bushier plants are usually shorter ... He's learning, as you can see from that bag of buds on the other thread ...

The 1st SRs were short and bushy. This second set of SRs are much taller. It is true that they are hardy. It gets cooler faster in Upstate NY and the "shorter" grow/flower time will be a help.:hump:
