My current grow I started pony tailing on day 12 (yesterday) the AK48s were still 1 set of leaves too short to tie up the centers while the NL and Short Riders were just right ... Bad pic but the two in the center have been LST'd w/ a fuzzy pipe cleaner to lift the leaves out of the way of the nodes below ... The AK48s are photos but I hope to cut back on topping this way.

Week Five
Week Five NL-SR
The girls are still growing. Just waiting for them to stop their vertical growth so I can put in the Nirvana Flower Tabs. They should start slowing down soon.
Thought the one gallon smart pots would keep these girls on the small side. They are filling up the SuperBox. Have to adjust lights every day. The Girls are growing at least an inch or more a day.
Had to do a small LSTing on all of them. Bending down the top colas to keep them on the short side. I really wanted to grow w/o any LSTing, but that's not the case.

Short Riders are in the front. Northern Lights are in the rear. The top CFL is a Feliz 200w "Blue". NLs are under two 75w CFL Daylight and the Short Riders are under two 65w CFL Daylight.
My twin brother was over this weekend. He couldn't get over how green these plants are. He has a friend who is growing a small micro grow. This guy is a High School science teacher. My brother said that I should give lessons on growing, because my grow is 100x better than the science teacher's.
I told him it's the love and attention that matters; not necessarily the science of growing. My plants know I love them. I talk to them every morning.

The SuperBox is a medium size metal file cabinet. The metal is heavy guage and the door can be locked. Tucked in the corner of a room it's made to look like office furniture.
This is only my third grow in this set up. I'm still learning. I've always LST'd my S/B grows so the height of my girls really wasn't an issue.
For some reason this N/L-S/R grow is EXPLOSIVE. They're in one gallon SmartPots. Thought they'd be on the small size. Not the case. I needed to do a short LST to get them under control. They still have another week before I start the Flower Tabs.
