Nirvana Northern Light Vape Report




NL#2; four days paper bag drying; 3rd day in glass jar cure. Harvested on 79th day. Tricomes cloudy.

This is the first time I've tried Northern Light. After the 4th day of drying. I cut up a small amount and loaded my Iolite.

Of course there is a bit of green taste at this point in the cure. Allowed the Iolite to get hot (5 minutes) before adding NL. Waited another 5 minutes to vape bud. At first you smell a bit of a sweet green smell while the bud heats up. The 1st vape lasted 20 minutes and I was stoned beyond my expectations. Nice head high and it creeps up on you. Had on an old movie on while I was vaping. Had to rewind the movie a couple of times; too high to watch it.

The color of the bud is what I really like. Nice green/brown hard buds.

I got 24g (dried weight) from 111g (wet weight). Not too bad,

They will be going into a 24 hour dark period tonight.

There is still some green fan leaves on my two girls. The trichomes are cloudy with very little amber. They will be chopped at the end of their 12th week.TaNg's Thang I'd like to get this grow finished."Hurry Up Mucker" Is there any advantage to wait until all the leaves turn yellow? "MysticMossy"

I harvested my last grow a week earlier than normal and I like the high. I have no idea if it would have gotten better ... If you're seeing some amber take them down whenever you want ... along w/ the darkness you could let them get cold, just above freezing ... should supercharge them ...

Great read. The first that I really followed all the way through. Greater grow. It seems that in spite of caveats against pinching and training autos, it's a good Idea with nirvanas that are hard chargers and just want to grow on and out of cabs. I'm starting Blues next month and I think I'll do 1 untouched and 2 SOG for comparison.

I also followed your nice grow.:tiphat: Nothing like hard work to get results. I've always had good results from Nirvana.:dance: I've gotten beans from friends from other breeders. Although they were grown outdoors. The Nirvana beans always took off better than my friends freebees.
