Classic Indica Shape




Checked Chunky this morning and I was surprised on the growth in just one day. She's almost up to the "Yellow" grow line. The side growth took off overnight. Tucking the fan leaves under the new side growth to get as much cfl lighting as possible. She's the classic Indica shape; short and fat. Chunky hit Week 4 on Thursday. She's in the water-water cycle after a full feed of RfS on Wednesday. Next feeding will have to be FLOWER nutrients. She'll stretch and the "Yellow" line is the max point for VEG. I need a good 6-7 inches of stretch before she gets to the top 200w Feliz cfl. Will switch spectrum to "RED" at that time too.

Chunky Going Under 392w CFLs Mixed Spectrum

Under 2x23w CFL Spirals "RED" and 2x23w CFL Spirals "BLUE" and one 300w Feliz Dual Specturm CFL Top view of Chunky

Changed the CFL lights to a mixed light spectrum this morning. She's at the 7" mark and seems to be slowing down in height. Did a mini flush (2 Gallons) today of 6.3-6-5 pH'd water only. Her next FEED will be her start of FLOWER nutrients. Sticking with the Technaflora RfS. I have the Nirvana FLOWER Tab, but I liked the way the RfS did in VEG. Not going to use the tab on this grow.

Chunky is at DAY #35 from seed.

Adding CFL Lighting

Before I go and spend money of 42w cfls to replace the 23w cfls that I have now. Do I have enough lighting for this one Northern Light or would replacing be over kill?

Now in the SuperBox;

2x23w CFL Spiral Day Light (BLUE)
2x23w CFL Spiral Warm White (RED)
1x300w FelizCFL Dual Spectrum

I've used the above CFL lighting before for a couple of grows and had very good results. Getting any cfl wattage over 23w at the local Box Stores is tough. You need to order them through a good garden shop online. I'd like to give Chunky the max during FLOWER. Gonna order the 42 watt cfl bulbs and at least I'll have them for my next grows.

yeah I use 2 of the 43 for side lighting in flower. I got a 55w but doesn't seem as bright. yeah 2700k

Hey man, whats up. Have not stopped by in a few days. She looks great my friend. I love to see that lush green on peoples grows man. :niceshot:

Though, Im not entirely sure. Beginner grower here but, it seems like a tad droppy to me. I only say this, because it makes me concerned that you might of over water a little. Man I really messed up with over watering my first grow, and slightly in the beginning of the second. Hopefully Im just being a noob right now and its fine. :Sharing One:
