Grow Room Nirvana Northern Lights

Day #3 Northern Lights

Day #3 Northern Lights Autoflower (Nirvana). Added at 1/2 strength Nitrozime concentrated 100% Organic Marine Algae Extract. Especially for the start of the seedling stage. This will be the only time I'll add a nutrient this early. Nitrozime will help the root system grow stronger. Letting the soil dry out a bit before next watering. Have a small vertical fan on low speed keeping the grow area well ventilated and the grow box at 75F with a RH @ 60%. Rotate the 3 gallon SmartPot 1/4 turn each day to help the soil dry out evenly.

Contacted Fox Farm about the proper pH for Coco Loco. Within a day they responded.

Hi Baylee,

Thank you for contacting FoxFarm! I would be happy to help you.

We recommend adjusting the pH of your nutrient solution between 6.3 and 6.8. For Coco Loco please keep in mind that coco coir tends to retain salts more than peat based soils- so be sure to flush your soil according to the feeding schedule.

Thank you for your support and please let us know if you have any other questions!

Happy gardening!

Day #5 Northern Lights.

Making a Grow Movie of this grow. Will not bore you all with every picture, but I'll be taking a photo of my girl every day and then will post the movie after the grow. She's kinda wrinkled as a start. Not worried. They sometimes start this way.

Oh nice. I love time lapse videos. Specially when its of cannabis haha.:smoke:

Day #9 Northern Lights. Coming along nicely. Will be adding more cfls today and going to start feeding her next water cycle. Letting the soil dry out a bit. It's been roughly every 4th day. Watered her yesterday and I'll check the soil moisture on Sunday. The pH has been good. Trying to be in the range of 6.3-6.8. Yesterday's (IN) pH 6.5; (OUT) pH 6.5. My soil pH meter is giving me a reading of 7.0. Once she gets a little bigger. I'll be starting the circular LST. Let the fun begin.

Two Weeks Old NL Auto

Two weeks old today. She just got a 1/2 strength Recipe for Success ( Technaflora). The pH IN 6.4-6.6 OUT. Have 460 watts of Blue cfls shining on her. The SmartPot dries out evenly; water her every third day with one gallon water. I get a good 25% run off. Going to start the LST on the third node. That may be the start of next week or sooner. The feeding schedule will be FEED-WATER-WATER. I still have a Nirvana Flower Tab that I'll more than likely use when she's ready to be put in FLOWER.

Low Stress Training started

First step in the LSTing of the NL. Made a open loop of nursery wire and pushed her down. She's very young and she'll bend very easily. She'll be pushing up to search for light. As she does I'll just train her to stay down. Keep this up every 2nd node and train her. Need to adjust daily to keep her low. That's the fun part.

Hey BayLee,

I too am growing a Northern Light feminized Auto. Mine is from Speed Seeds. She is four days old. I will also be LST'ing. She is under 150 watts of CFL light, an equal mix of 6500k and 3000k. I will be watching this thread closely, I will post pictures of my girl and setup sometime in the next few days.

Peace,

The Freak

Looks good man. :d5:
