I just thought I'd post a few pictures on my Northern Light Automatic at nine weeks into flower. She is now starting her eleventh week. I'm pretty sure she will be ready before week twelve.

Beautiful NL there.
My NL is the 36 hour dark period before harvest. Exactly 12 weeks old.
I need to chop her down on Tuesday because I will be very busy at work this week. I could wait a bit longer, but she's ready now.
Keep up the good work. Your my nomination for BOM/POM next month.

Nirvana Northern Light, Harvest, Week 12 Plus One Day

The last look at Chunky aka Nirvana Northern Light before harvest. The cola fan leaves are all yellowed up. I've check the trichomes only a few times. My experience has been most of my grows into the 11th-12th week. I let the fan leaves yellow up and die; then the cola leaves yellow...it's time to chop. The trichomes will relate to the yellowing of the cola fan leaves. Yellowing up cola leaves will have cloudy trichomes with a few amber, no clear ones, 90-10 percent cloudy to amber. If I let it go another week and all the cola leaves die. The trichomes will be about 75-25 percent cloudy to amber. I'll have a couch lock high and I didn't want to go that far into harvest on this NL.
This was the EASIEST Northern Light I've ever grown. First she was a solo grow. Second she was in a three gallon SmartPot, not the two gallon SPs on other grows. Third the soil was Coco Loco by Fox Farms. Fourth the Technaflora's Recipe for Success' FEED-WATER-WATER schedule. Fifth was to do an early LST on the main cola, then small LST adjustments as she went along. Fifth and last is the most important....Dry/Wet cycle.
They are being hung up in a spare dark closet on coat hanger and garden wire. Normally I paper bag dry, but the colas on Chunky are too nice and fat. Pre-trimmed the colas as usual and left the cola buds whole. There is a five gallon humidifier set to 55% RH and a small fan mixing up the air. They'll take a week easy to be anywhere near dry.
I'll check the humidifier's water level daily to make sure the drying is slow and easy.
Maxed the SuperBox on this grow for plant yield. There is around 6 cubic feet of grow area in the SB. I've done two plants in two gallon SPs in the SB. I'd stay at one plant from now on. It's a lot easier and the personal yield on this NL was remarkable. It proves that you can get a good yield in a short space. Ideal for the personal use Cannabis user/grower. Grower will need some experience in LSTing.
Test vape with Iolite on the NL (Pop Corn bud, no main cola) is very good stone. Not too deep, but you know your stoned. Light body feel and nothing too heavy. Pleasant high. 7.5 out of 10 so far.
Thanks to all that have followed this Northern Light Grow. I had a great time doing this Micro Grow. I hope there was some info that may of been some help.

After four days of hanging up the buds to dry. I manicured the buds and got 72 grams (2.5 ounces). I'll paper bag the buds for another two to three days with a RH @ 55%-60%. Then glass jar cure. Right now the bud moisture is at 68%. Just too high to seal up in jars. Once the moisture get to 60% I'll start the glass jar cure.
Test vape is so good. Excellent head buzz, nice and clear. It's going to be a good daily vape. Your mind just focuses on the task at hand, great wake and bake vape. The smell of the NL is sweet but a good stink too. My wife had to leave the room when I trimmed the buds. The NL's smell was so strong.
Will have a vape report when the buds are cured. :tiphat:

Awesome grow and wonderful buds!

I want to grow some. My luck with NL has really sucked though...lol! Something has happened everytime I tried to grow some. I've got my finger's crossed, I have a NL sprouted from seed I got from a friend, Maybe this one will make it...lol!

This is my second NL grow. Of the two grows. This NL was the Champ.
