I have tried 3 seprate times to make compost tea. 2 times I tried with 4 handfuls of Alaskan humus with 4 tsp of molasses and 4 gal of water. No luck. Then I tried the same thing just with worm castings instead of humus. Again no froth. I have a 5 gallon bucket a 20-60 gal rated pump with two air stones in it. My water comes from a mountain spring and I bring it home put it in an aquarium and let bubble for a few days before using. Any one have any advice ?

recipe? small bubbles wont hold the life as long if they are small bubble air stones which I imagine they are so if its not to heavy of a brew 24-48 hours is prolly enough and brother nammy is right, bubbles arent always a necessity, its about the recipe and the steeping/brewing and aerobic activity or anerobic which ever it happens your brewing..LOL kinda like caps sorta LOL!

yeah you could either have used an inoculate like recharge or similar, but EWC but yeah large bubbles but with the smaller bubbles and simplistic recipe assuming its not too concentrated of an amount 24-36 hours will be juuust fine man. put the humus in the bin if you do soil or OD on a flower bed. you could top coat using the loose stuff but if your plant dont require it truly, Id leave it alone. happy growing man!

oh LOL also increase the amount of molasses especially if your in flower. 3-4 teaspoons is that right? if so increase it to like 1-1.5 Table spoons per gallon roughly and 3-4 cups of humus will work nicely.but dont brew it loose if you can help it. bundle of cheese cloth and some string hung in the center of the bucket is best. and make sure the molasses is fully mixed up before bubbling too you dont want it to sit on the bottom and just steep ya need it to be blended.

I use a nylon stocking hung from center like u said. I'm using @mephisto super soil so I don't really need it, but they are 2 weeks old and looked a little yellow not bad at all just wanted to super charge them if I could lol
