Now that the mycelium has reached over 40% Iv decided to give the bag a shake and a shuffle to break up any large clumps so it can mix evenly with the patches that have not colonized yet.
As you can see from the Pic below, there is a stripe on the back and front of the bag that's uncolonised, so a shake was definitely in order.
Gave the bag a shuffle & shake on Tuesday to mix the mycelium up with the uncolonised patches
Spreading out well again since then.
Got my supply's in order for the next stage & would say I'm not far off now.
I'm thinking when the time comes to mixing the the bags, That I carefully remove some C. V. G first and then leave some colonized grain in it's bag and mix the removed cvg into the grain bag so I've got 2 bags then.
I dropped and smashed the box i intended to use while wiping it down to sterilize it so have to use this one instead, will probly go on its side tho. Tried my best to be as clean as possible doing it so hopefully there's no contamination.
If there is I'm not too worried as this is a test phase to see what can be done for next time I try, I'm surprised I've got this far.
I'm more concerned about the other one working out as the it's the method I'd like to work cos it's practical and able to fit in the Den
