I am new to this and on my first grow. I understand the difference between Clear trichs, cloudy and amber. Can a person harvest a plant in stages? Like have some for the up stone. And then let the rest ripen to knock your socks off? Just thought about that and wanted to run that by you good people.

Absolutely! As a matter of fact I did this to a Tangie just the other day...I harvested the top, and put the plant back under the light to finish up. Lots of people do it, and have excellent success!

Yep agree with Monsieur Tank above. It works a treat. Have tried on a coupe of plants now and enjoyed the results.
Right on.. Thanks you guys. I have a Northern Lights and I think that is what I will do. Right now the Trichs are mostly clear, kinda turning cloudy.. I might just top her and then let the rest go for the good stuff. You guys are awesome... Thanks again.

Personally I would try and wait until most are cloudy. Too many clear and the buzz will be very short lived in my little experience. Cloudy is where the goodness really starts in my opinion. I tried a bit of one of mine while mostly clear, maybe sour crack, and it was like speed for 20 mins and then not much more lol. Quite funny to be getting the cold shivers from smoking weed, but not the ideal buzz. Depending on your preference of course
