Hi grow pro's i need a bit of advice on how to passively control or rid my plants of some aphids as ive had to bring em in to finish the grow. Havent seen any yet but know they are there. Hopefully the solutions can be as organic as possible due to indoors and dont wanna my wife and kid breathing fumes.

Hi strakey :) Do you have a garden center, plant greenhouse, nearby? Probably the most organic cure would be to pick up some live Ladybugs for your tent. I'm not keen on the actual number needed, but the 10-12 that found my tent this Summer have kept any crawlies away from my diesel photos. You just release them ( a few dozen?- someone could pipe in with accurate answer?)and they do what they do :)

Ants, ladybugs, and praying Mantis are good helpful bugs. Neem oil is safe and organic, but it stinks really really badly and if your tent is inside ir will probably make your whole house stink for days or weeks lol. You can brew up some DIY home organic spray for aphid control, I've been doing this one for like 20 years or so for houseplants and veggies:
Take 2 or 3 cigarettes or 1 cheapo cigar and remove the tobacco. Soak it in about a glass or jar of water for a day or two, then filter off the bits. Take the nicotine water, add a couple drops of any dish soap, add an half ounce or half shot of isopropyl alcohol, and a tiny pinch of chilli pepper powder or any type of hot pepper powder you have around. Shake this all up and spray the whole plant, leaves top and bottom, everything. Let them sit for an hour, then come back and spray off the plants with fresh clean regular water, distilled would be a good choice. Wash em off really good. It might need repeating in a week, but the second time should have broken the cycle good. This shouldn't hurt the cannabis plants at all, I've done it on all types of plants with no problems, but I haven't needed to try it on cannabis yet. It should be safe for the flowers too, or at least safer than the crazy chems.
