Grow Mediums Pipe replacement

Hello,

i have a queston about pipe replacement :

I read somewhere on this forum that you absolutely have to buy black pipes if you want to replace them..

But having transparent pipes would allow you to quickly find any plugged due tu nutrients so why not transparent pipes ? can light act badly on nutes ?

(i'm using AN Nutes and Drip Clean and Led from Cobshop)
