Mephisto Genetics Poor germination rates lately!

The Stiltons that I ordered along with the White Train popped with no problems.So it was only the White Train 7 pack that has had 3 duds in a row.Also if you don't know how to germ seeds then you probably shouldn't be growing at all.KISS

I'm having issues with White Stomper & White Chem.... 4 White Stomper didn't pop & 2 White Chem... I'm trying at Creme Bubbly now... but on a good note White Crack & Forum Stomper did pop...

I finally got a White Train to pop and has just broken ground.This is the 5th seed that finally germed all the while Fugue State, SODK, and Hubbabubbasmelloscope that we’re direct from Mephisto are all at 100%.After finishing the F.S. I am not so bummed that W.T. was discontinued because Fugue is very similar to W.T. and more potent too.A very good option were discretion is a concern because it is VERY low odor but still a top notch frost machine.

I have been growing Mephisto genetics exclusively for almost 3 years now and have up until just recently experienced 100% germination rates. I bought a seven pack of white train from seeds here now because it has been discontinued and is one of my all-time favorites. So far three of the seeds from the seven pack have not germinated. I have always experienced 100% germination with their genetics after no more than 48 hours. I was just curious if anyone else is experiencing this lately or orders from SHN.?

Well! I knew I didn't screw up so badly! I lost every stinkin' one of my Fugue State, half of my Forgotten Cookies, and way too many of two other strains I bought recently. I'm definitely not shouting Mephisto Genetics praises the way I used to. Wiped my stinkin' summer outdoor grow completely OUT this year. I'm screwed.

It’s sometimes best too grow another brand from another breeder too see if it’s ypur personal set ups responsible or the breeders. But I see where your coming from aswell ypu have had 100 percent germination, so I’m guessing the seeds were duds then,

Using a heated mat and a propergator with a cfl.... Just drop the seed in root it cubes, and some water... off ypu go! Once roots appear straight into final pots.

My guess it would have to have been how the package was handled after it left mephisto hands. Otherwise I think u would see a lot more of the same strain not germing for people. I don’t order seeds in the dead of summer anymore only problem I’ve ever had from seeds were ones I ordered in the middle of a heat wave not thinking about it. Just a thought. I doubt meph
Beans all of a sudden became unreliable. I’ve had 100% crack only one didn’t surface grew over 20+ meph beans so far. Maybe closer to 30.

Is the 100% germ rate not a myth ? I would guesstimate mine at 85% ish over 6 odd year period

100% since I’ve been growing meph. Only one didn’t make the surface after putting in soil with a small tail. Since that one fail to surface I now just put the seed directly from fridge to soil and water. 100% in 4 days or under. @archie gemmill over my 5 years I’m gonna say I’m about the same 85% with most failures coming on my end. Usually not warm enough and it always happens after I shut down for a short break. Lol seems I have to constantly grow or I forget how to do it. I’m ok with that as I need the meds and really enjoy growing anyways.

My free pack of dbc didnt sprout. Not a 1. Well 1 broke surface and died. They was freebies from the limited drop. My white crack and dbl. G. Look great though
